That's it then, me and the family are off to Nanjizal this weekend. Hope the weather can stay dry. Thanks for sharing the location, Shawn, a very Happy New Year to you and yours, Sir!
Great video, i regularly snorkel out in the purbecks, ive gone out past the bay at lulworth cove (not sure if your aware of it) trying to get to some caves along the cliffside, it was the same conditions as this video, i had to turn back, its thats fear of getting smashed into a rock, or out to sea when your going solo, better safe than sorry always, keep sharing the good vibes!
Brilliant stuff you mad man ha ha respect for getting in there great video as always....ps can see why your such a great swimmer you would need huge kahunas to get in that water lol!
Looks like an amazing place to Snorkel Shaun, especially in the summer when it's calm, that's definitely one for the list👍 great Video Mate, You got some Cracking shots 🤙🏽
@@LoveSundays Looking forward to making a video there mate, I'll go in the peak of Summer when the water is At it's clearest and the weather is at its best🙏🤙🏽
Lovely video again Shaun however perhaps don’t do that again in Winter that was some scary moments watching you the the waves looked very rough and glad you didn’t go through. Glad you got back to shore safely and remember “respect the sea” 😬 and as you said “don’t try this at home”. Loved you cooking and having a bacon cob on the shore can’t beat it. Take care see you in the next video cheers! 😊
Fair play mate, that looks proper narly. Never snorkelled before so wouldn’t know what it’s like with fins. When surfing I always think if In doubt, don’t go out. Save yourself to play another day. Love the sarny idea after tho! All the best. 🤙
That was a very well deserved bacon bap after such bravery. Waves scare the life out of me even though I’m a strong swimmer. I guess you know how to control them if you surf etc. I guess we get to see more of you in the sea when it’s calmer maybe summer months?
Yes I tend to make more water based videos in the summer but I still try to get in all year round. I like to think I know my limits when it comes to the water and this was borderline hence why I turned back but a bit of drama always makes for a good video 😆
Nice sequel Shaun looked a bit rough but thanks for showing us a real gem. That's on my list for the summer when hopefully it will be a lot calmer. Nice bacon butty to yum yum. I have invested in a whistle for piece of mind well worth it. Watersports wearhouse in hayle has a great range of snorkeling gear website is worth a look. Ps got in at Perranuthnoe yesterday at low water good seascape. Thanks as always Shaun.
Yes I was a little rough wouldn’t recommend those conditions 😆. How was Perranuthnoe this weekend? I need to get back in there it’s now one of my favourites
@@LoveSundays was a good snorkel went at low water good visibility and colourful seascape also a few starfish. Only down side the cafe was closed. I hope to get in next Saturday morning at swanpool it's calm all week according to magicseaweed.
Great double episode , looks like a great place to drone , I’d have to check as I think it’s restricted or needs permissions. Looks beautiful., but scary in the water
Yes it restricted I tried taking off but I had to put in my mobile number and sign a disclaimer and that wouldn’t work because I had no internet down there 😆 I was proper gutted
Loved this one. I am so intrigued by Nanjizal Cove. I guess I will have to come back some time and swim through there. But it iwll definitely be during summer ;-)
Well that was a good 2nd part to the video mate. Shame you didn't get to swim through the rocks but there is always next time shaun. Your getting an expert at making these bacon sandwichs now with your new camping gear 👍 keep it up mate.
Omg! How much stuff did you have in that dry bag, back pack thingy 😂 haha to be fair it looked really good, can you tell us the make and model please 🙂 great video Shaun 👌🏽
Nice to meet you at Land's End the other day. Here's a video of us coasteering that coast a few years back, finishing through the Song of the Sea (proper name Zawn Pyg!). We'd been through some of the areas biggest caves that day, so the Song of the Sea was just one of a long list of cool things we saw. ua-cam.com/video/ZVK_1bgeXc4/v-deo.html
Brown sauce! BROWN SAUCE!!!!!!!! disgraceful behaviour to eat your salty bacon 'roe' dry. Yes 'roe' as you say lol funny how at times you sound even more Cornish
People have been asking me about my waterproof bag. Get it here 👇

Now that was a good sequel, Shaun. Glad you lived!!! Lol I honestly couldn’t do that at home if I tried but still good advice. Haha
I think I’ll take my own advice next time 😂
@@LoveSundays haha. No way you’ll listen man
Great video as usual. Beautiful scenery
Thanks Ann
Hi Shaun, always love the music you pick...very dramatic in the big waves 🌊🌊🌊😋. Great to be able to cook a bacon butty on the beach and fab views 👌🙏💝
It takes me hours to edit each video and choosing the right music for the right mood is a full time job in itself 😆
Cornwalls answer to Ray Mears 🤣🤣
Great video as usual. 👍🦊
Ray Mears legend 😆 thanks Jon 🦊
Great vid mate. That looked an awful long way out!!
It was quite a way yes but it was the currents that were savage. 😂
Great video. Glad you decided to turn back as those waves looked very nasty. Maybe a revisit in the summer when conditions are calmer.
Yea I think it was the wises thing to turn back. I started to feel myself bing dragged out
Glad you stayed safe. That was scary! Another great video though.
Thanks Helen, sadly the footage didn’t do the wave justice they were massive 😆
Great video as usual, looked a bit rough out there especially without a buddy, keep safe :)

Sometime you just don’t know how tough it is until you get out there 😆
You did the right thing turning round. The bacon bap looked tasty and was well deserved
Yes if I hadn’t turned back there would’ve been a chance that could’ve been the end of Love Sundays 😂
Awesome stuff mate, hope you are keeping well 👍 😁
Thanks mate. Yea I’m keeping alright. Definitely need to meet up soon for a dive though 👍
@@LoveSundays yes definitely mate! The viz is incredible at the moment 😍
Good job you didn’t pass through the arch, no return from that event horizon. Nice forward planning with the bacon bap.
Yes I probably would’ve died if I’d gone through that hole 😆
@@LoveSundays looked a daft thing to do 🤣 You’d have never got the bacon treat! 🥓
Yea it’s definitely worth jot risking my life for a few hundred views 😆
@@LoveSundays mate, it’s always worth risking your life for views!
Yea but at least 2k views not 200 😆
Another great one Shaun. It certainly looked a bit choppy out there.
Yea it was very choppy 😆

Thanks John. 👍 I’ve got to keep the fitness us some how 😂
Loved this double header Shaun, though thought you were crazy to go out there on your own 🤔🤤
Glad you got back in safely 👍🏻
Yes I think I may have been crazy too. Live and learn 😂 at least I can say I put everything on the line for content 😆
Thanks!
Thank you

That looked scary I’m glad you didn’t go through but great video Also was that man naked
No he had skin tone shorts on 😆
@@LoveSundays yes I know now dad told me lol on my phone he looked naked lol
Your braver than me, that’s for sure.. I don’t think I’d have attempted that one with how choppy it is. Keep em coming ✌️
Thanks Oliver. I literally thought the same thing when I swam out. I was like this might be a little too choppy.... time to swim back 😆
You definitely need to go back and snorkel when it’s calmer. Beautiful place and the bacon roll looked amazing, my mouth was watering 🥓 🥖
Thanks Kristina, that’ll be my plan for one calm Sunday in summer. Swim through the song of the sea.

Fair play mate, that looks proper narly. Never snorkelled before so wouldn’t know what it’s like with fins. When surfing I always think if In doubt, don’t go out. Save yourself to play another day. Love the sarny idea after tho! All the best. 🤙

Love the music choice 👍
Thanks Debbie 😊

Ideal Swanpool is a lovely snorkel. If it’s calm enough you can swim out to the private beach where I found that beach ball

It’s an amazing cove isn’t it. I’m determined to swim through but I think the conditions will have to be completed dead calm.
@@LoveSundays agreed. No reason to be reckless 😄
Looks kinda scary 😳 we’d be too scared to try
Yes it’s definitely worth knowing your limits when swimming in rough seas. I definitely would not have attempted it if I didn’t have my fins on

Anything for the content Sidney 😆
Great vid still makes me shiver brrrrr
It wasn’t that cold
Good grief your brave!! Interesting place tho 😀 please return in calmer seas 😊 and stop ✋🏾 with the bacon butties, makes me hungry 😂😂

Thanks John 👍
It was all going so well until, WHAT! No ketchup 😱
Yea that was the driest bacon bap I’ve ever eaten 😂
Do you know why it is called “Song of the sea”?
I’m not 100% sure. I tried to find some info on it before I went but couldn’t find the reason why it’s called that
Good advice to not try it at home… but my Bath isn’t big enough anyway.
I’ll take you there in the summer mate
