@@suhanjayalian5044 Hi provocateur from Indonesia. Your comments are always bad when it comes to Malaysia. You are one of the most rude netizens in SEA. You are also a chinese Indonesian. Tiongkok people. Well good luck .
U guys can find a good nasi lemak at Wanjo in Kampung Baru, in case u guys want to try it d next time in KL. D fish in d nasi lemak is fried dried anchovies.
Nasi lemak generally only rice egg cucumber anchovies and chilli paste. Lamb is expensive here definitely not included in the NL. Having said that for rm4 for plain NL is a bit in the high side. Normally can get half the price
FYi,price in tourist spot is higher than normal spot or local spot..but,it’s good to try isn’t it?😊 For Nasi Lemak better go to Kampung Baru..the price there is also reasonable..
The best nasi lemak that I would recommend to you is Nasi Lemak Kak Chuk, located in Kampung Baru. Kak Chuk is literally translated as Auntie Chuk, as in Chuk is the name of the auntie. Its better than Nasi Lemak Wanjo. This nasi lemak is so famous among local street food, and its a morning stall that you should pay a visit as your breakfast spot before getting to work. Bear in mind that you have to get early in the morning as early at 6.30 a.m or you might going to end up in a long queue. For the menu recommendation, I highly suggest you try the nasi lemak with extra sambal, extra paru and kerang, mix and match with anchovies, cucumber, hard boiled egg and peanuts. You're gonna love it ! Till then, cheers mates.
Durian smells and tastes good. Don't want spicy in Bahasa Malaysia is tak nak pedas. Nasi lemak can be eaten with accompaniments such as chcken, beef, cockles, prawn, squid and others. The little fish is anchovies
What you are eating in the nasi lemak is actually called anchovies . In Malay it is called ikan bilis. Try mixing them in the sambal and rice. Its delicious. :)
Nasi lemak is sold at RM2 if its only rice, sambal anchovies, 2 cucumber slices and egg... But then you can choose some extras like fried chicken or beef / chicken "rendang" or prawn sambal etc....then it'll cost you more...the rice is cooked with coconut milk and pandan leaves....its good to eat when its hot! And the smell is sooo good! You should hv tried the durians though....the smell is strong but the taste is sweet & heavenly for most of us here...that's why its expensive...✌
Hai there, i would like to asked you guys one question. Does the bir in malaysia taste the same as in your country ? Pleasa forgive me if my english not so good. Thank you.
please please go to kg baru for malaysian food sunday go to jalan tar got evening/night market by the way that lamb 🐑 not pork 😂😂😂😂 its okeyy if u guys didn’t know if you want buffet try jogoya or sukiya at pavillion ❤❤
Basic nasi lemak is the coconut rice, reddish sambal enchovies and few fried anchovies and some nuts. Some people put half boiled egg or a whole fried egg. That the basic you can enjoy. You can have additional fried chicken, rendang or other dishes that they may offer with nasi lemak. People eat the rice together with the sambal or what you may call it its sauce. It cannot be called a nasi lemak if it is without the sambal. Btw those bbq mutton are not part of nasi lemak, they are different dish.
You actually got a nasi lemak more on the pricey side cause of the lamb. Usualy it can be around 12myr (2.5 usd). Normally its the rice, a piece or 2 of fried chicken, a fried or boiled eggs and your sauce. Almost any version you try though is 10/10
@@tyandsoph yeap thats y i dont recommend nasi lemak past 12pm(afternoon) unless its freshly made in front of you, other wise, the rice will be cold, :) good day
It's not pork. That's actually lamb(goat). Muslim stall doesn't have pork because we are not allowed to eat that.. but if you buy from chinese stall maybe there is pork in their nasi lemak. Usually normal nasi lemak has anchovies, sambal, cucumber, eggs. And some will add chicken, prawn, lamb, squid too
please i hope next time you can try to get any of locals to joins you in exploring the local food so that they will be able to guide you the proper way of enjoying the food to the fullest
Hi, guys. Nice that you are enjoying the food. But you are eating nasi lemak with lamb meat? Cos' yor video, you keep mentioning pork. So if you bought the nasi lemak from the same stall selling lamb , then it's a Halal (Muslim owned/certified) stall. I saw in your baackground and also you talking to the owner.

I never thought in a million years for anyone to get nasi lemak at jalan alor which is the most lousy, tasteless, overpriced tourist trap in KL. Never understand its hype. They don't even have authentic Malaysian food. For nasi lemak and other Malay cuisine you should go to Kampung Baru and look for Wanjo, etc. There are many street food and vendors in KL and I would avoid jalan alor at all cost. For a start and the most basic in KL you should at least go for mamak such as Pelita, they're around the city,
