Lotus market or aeon big is also not too bad price wise.. BTW the chicken feet mainly ppl cook it in a soup in a way one makes chicken noodle soup.. Just boil them long enough so that it melt off the bone.. Too short of a time it will just be hard and rubbery. Anyways, enjoyed ur video. And enjoy finding more shopping places to explore in Malaysia..!!
Giant is good, I like their own brands frozen foods, it's actually taste good compared to other supermarket's brand frozen food. 99 Speedmart is also cheap.
it's not actually that bad.. I mean, shopping in Giant is usually on the cheaper side. Jaya Grocers, Village Grocers or basically wherever the name ends in "Grocer" (haha) tends to be a bit more expensive overall. But again, they carry more imported brands.. So it depends on what you want, i suppose.
Not always. Some items I buy are a bit more expensive than even in Jaya Grocer. So you do need to make some comparisons. Where Giant is lower priced are the fruits and vegetables, their own-brand items and when they give 2 for the price of 1 when items (esp dairy products) are near expiry.
As a Local,it interests me how Europeans, esp the British view the products in our markets and compare those in Europe. In terms of Pricing,Variety and Value for 💰 money. Great ! Keep it up.

Most of the Chinese will braise the chicken feet in broth with mushrooms, mild spices and soy sauce + dark soy sauce. It doesn't taste spicy don't worry about it. It taste really good and savoury. You can look for it at some kopitiam (Malaysian Chinese traditional cafe) Btw Mooncake is a traditional Chinese cake/pastry/dessert usually served during mid autumn/mooncake festival. There's a legend for the Mooncake. Anyways my favourite Mooncake is the nuts filling and those with salted egg yolk. There are too many types of Mooncake.
@@tyandsoph enjoy the food here! There are plenty more to explore but really it's all about your luck sometimes. Just to recommend some, do try out nasi kerabu, nasi dagang, bak kut Teh, shredded chicken noodles (with prawn n prawn oil), Wan tan mee, pan mee, banana leaf rice, Indian style claypot rice, Chinese style claypot chicken rice and bergedil, satay (if u go to Melaka do try out hainanese satay, totally different taste n they serve pork (by Chinese)
Some milks like the full cream is cheaper because they use milk powder which is why they can also be kept on the shelves and on the box it would usually say shake before opening. Most of the milk kept in the fridge are the ones that are actual raw milk which is why they are more expensive and need to be in the fridge as they won't last as long. You can check the ingredient list to see which it is
For a quick and satisfying meal or snack, try adding a canned of curry chicken (Yeo's brand) to your Maggi curry noodles, add some long beans or bean sprouts. Yummy, just had mine.
