🤭🤭 good roots Dora. I have to harvest lettuce and spinach tomorrow (hopefully). All coming along great and should be a good year. Have a fab bank holiday, Ali 🌧️🇨🇦
Ooh lovely - I harvested my first home grown spinach yesterday (will be up in my next video) and it sure was delicious. I wish Id planted them out earlier now as sadly some are going to flower. Have a lovely weekend Ali ☺️
Look at you! Over 500 subs already! Well deserved too. Lovely video, always such a lovely watch. Not heard of that variety of tomato before. Lollo rosso is a favourite, as slugs don’t like it! Buckland Manor looks almost as beautiful as your garden, which is truly beautiful. That rose is going to be magnificent there and I love the history and sentiment of it. So lovely and it looks glorious already. Can’t wait to see it in flower. Salvias are lovely. What a colourful border that will be soon. A few gardeners call mixing flowers with edibles as “edimental gardening” especially if you were to plant things such as bright lights chard. Head gardener, Bruno, needs paying in gravy bones for his tireless commitment to his supervisory role
Aw thank you so much for the lovely comment Clare! It's brilliant that 500+ people have taken a fancy in my allotment. *Dora googles tomato variety to check it's real and that I haven't had a moment of calling it something entirely different* - thankfully it's a real variety 😃 Looking forward to seeing how they come out. & I didn't know that about the Lollo Rosso - maybe that's one that's actually safe to plant out at the allotment too then! Thank you - I truly treasure this rose and I have one other that I plan to move to the other side so they can be partners and join up together 🩷 I'm hoping my edimental gardening works 🤞🏻 Hahah I will pass the comment on to Bruno so he knows he's valued!
@@doras.allotment I have looked it up myself too, just to see what it looked like. It’s exciting learning new things by watching UA-cam channels like this. Thank you. I cannot wait for see the rose wall all gloriously in bloom. The scent will be divine 🥰
Hey Dora, so lovely to put a face to a name! What's a lovely start on the training rose 🌹 and a beautiful selection of dahlias 🤩 what a fab tip on the salvia cuttings I am totally going to do that this year, only one out of my three came back 🥹 Your flower boarder is going to look fabulous in a few month time! P.S your dogs is super cute, what's their name? 🥰
Hi Laura 👋🏻 Thank you, I can't wait to see the growth over the upcoming weeks! 🥰Definitely do! They're super easy to propagate too - I did mine via water and once roots sprouted I popped them in gritty compost and kept them inside over winter. I will be taking twice as many this year! Oh he's a darling and very patient. His name is Bruno 🐾
Hi Dora. Video is great but not sure if just me but the microphone is really low making it difficult to hear even turning up the volume. No issue with the music so must be the microphone. Thank you
Hi Fern, thank you for watching and commenting - sound is definitely something I’m trying to improve! It doesn’t help that I’m softly spoken so then have to over compensate with tech. If you can bare with me it would be much appreciated 😊
The gardens at Buckland Manor look really beautiful. Thanks for taking us along for Sunday lunch Dora and for all your very enjoyable vlogs.
It's such a lovely spot. You're very welcome - thank you for your support! 🌞
