My mom's shoulder was hurting her and she asked me to massage it (find huge knot). She asked me what could have caused it and I tell her looking at the phone, she sleeps on her right side and that's the side that's bothering her. I say "that will do it. And every inch you look down your head gets heavier." My daughter yells from the other room "you know, just because you watch that chiropractor on UA-cam it doesn't make you an expert!" LOLOLOLOL
I mean, she's not wrong. But I think I was a safe assumption that might be what's causing it. Lol just shows I'm a fan!

Ive been looking for a chiropractor in my area (bay area, California) that works the way you do. Is there a name for it? I dont want just the crackin, i want to thoroughly be worked on. My low back, shoulders and neck hurt all the time. Ive never seen a chiro before.

What if people do feel dizzy when u are working on their neck? What does that mean? And do you stop?
I have not been to a chiropractor, but had fysiotherapy more than once and if a massage was making me dizzy the fysiotherapist mentioned that could literally be nerves that due to being irritated were much more easily agitated when pressure was being applied and could fire in ways they should not always do so.
On both sides of the spine there are nerve-knots where nerves running outwards towards our limbs are bundled together to pass their signals on to the spinal cord, and whenever you would apply pressure to those spots they would fire upwards, and some nerves in the neck, due to their nature of being responsible for neck muscles could cause the muscles around your head to contract (which is why people with migraine can sometimes really benefit from massages of the muscles around their head, because it's pressure that those muscles sometimes endure that causes the migraine).
One time a fysiotherapist ran her index and middle finger down from my neck to my butt while applying some very fierce pressure (I had mentioned biology lessons had just landed in the nerve-department and she mentioned she could make the nerve-knots I mentioned fire externally) while I was on my belly, and the first time was already hugely intense, but because of anticipatory systems in the brain the second time she did it my legs and arms all started to flail around my body while she held her arm down on my neck so I wouldn't fall of the table, my whole body tingled for a good while afterwards.
This lady does an amazing job! I'm in Florida and need a chiropractor.

If you can afford it, get a massage. It'll help a ton. Especially if you get a massage just before going to the chiropractor. Makes their job easier and makes it easier on you. I know that from personal experience.

Hey Doc I know this is an old video but I have an important question. Around 4:35 When you're rubbing her neck you ask her if she is experiencing vertigo or dizziness. I have vertigo and dizziness when I rub that exact area. Why is that? Is it dangerous?
I know the answer my mom had this too. Look up the talos principle its a chiro practice for that

I wish you were closer to where I live. I am located in S.W. Florida. None of the chiropractors that I have been to seem to be as concerned or thorough as you are on the videos that I have watched.

Is there a difference in the chiropractic services offered here and standard Chiropractors? My Chiro charges me $60 for 3 minutes and 4-6 cracks. This is like a full body adjustment plus a full massage. How do I find practitioners that do this?

You are being charged too much. Mine charges $35 and I get all but the scraping.
She specializes in myofascial release so find a chiro that does that. Mine does active release therapy which is similar and my sessions have been anywhere from 20-40 minutes

Her outer leg muscles are stronger than the inner leg muscles, so they naturally pull her foot to the side. You can mostly fix it by strengthening your inner legs, but some of it might just be a skeletal issue

I would for sure loved to get worked on there. The time that is taken to work on the person seems to be way better to me then just lay down and crack crack crack ok you’re done see you later. Like the love the is put in to each person makes it worth it.

I’ve always wondered when you feel the persons spin what exactly are you feeling more? Is it parts that don’t move like they should ?
She probably feels for where muscle tissue is tighter or more clumped up before doing anything. Since muscles are what enable bones to move, having knots will restrict movement
