Patient presented with neck, upper back and shoulder pain with some mild low back discomfort. She is an out-of-state patient that is seeking the "Mondragon Chiropractic" experience! She has a condition called Pectus excavatum, also known as sunken or funnel chest. It is a congenital chest wall deformity in which several ribs and the sternum grow abnormally, producing a concave, or caved-in, appearance in the anterior chest wall. This made adjusting her mid-back a little tricky, but not impossible. Not too much pressure could be applied posterior to anterior as it would cause to much pressure on the chest wall.

Think more along the lines of the Princess Bride sword fight scene. I would never call myself a pure Gonstead practioner, although I like some of the adjusting techniques in certain situations. That is what is most important!

Love when the massager really shows the shoulder muscle moving and the new mid/lower back tool is a neat one. Relief when the patient’s upper back finally cracked after the soft tissue work. 😊

I was watching one of Dr Mondragon's other videos and as usual I fell asleep and then at some point in the night I had a dream that someone cracked my toes for me LOL. Just remembered this when I saw this lady getting her toes adjusted. :-)

In latin cervic- means neck which is why the term is used for your neck vertebrae as well as the neck/narrow point of uterus. :)

I get dizzy when I get my neck adjusted. I notice that you sometimes ask your patients if they have vertigo. Can you explain why some people feel that way when getting their necks adjusted?
same. i've even blacked out for a second. stopped getting adjustments because of how scary it is for me :(
When she was trying to adjust the ribs from the front and raising her arm made me wince. I have the same problem in that muscle area, and it hurts like a SOB when I get a massage.

I think I seriously need this, but I live in Fresno California. I'm 37 but my body's so tight and I feel like I'm 80 years old. I've felt like I need some one to yank my right leg like you do for like a year and a half. I can't extend my right arm all the way it hurts in my elbow and my right knee has rheumatoid arthritis. My body feels all messed up, tight, and not flexible.
Yeah when the rocks between the back of neck from ear to ear get moved the rocks give us great balance once they get out of wack you loose balance cant stand or hold yourself up its bad and you want to thro up

That new machine massager needed a headphone user warning, like a pneumatic drill. Also optical illusion it makes the skin/muscle look like liquid.
