is there anyway of speeding up the voice commands ?- it's not exactly responsive Idrive9 is already being developed. DO you know how that differs from idrive8? no engine braking from a 4 cyc unfortunately.
Yes, you can adjust the voice commands speed. I do not have any info on iDrive9
I have seen you were driving the 330e M sport as well. How would you compare it with this one here in the video? Driving experience etc. etc. hard to find good reviews online
yea they are very similar beside the hybrid drive with the 330e. 3 series and 4 series are almost the same.

Would you rather recommend taking a 340i xDrive with sport pro package or a 330e with normal sport package and without xDrive? I might think that as a beginner the 340i might be too harsh in the streets to drive for a novice

I do not believe so. Maybe with the Enhanced package.

Read the various BMW forums , including the ones in Europe, they are all saying that screen they mounted is awful.

You said “all wheel drive system” I thought the 430i Coupe was rear wheel drive only
in Canada, almost all the BMW's are standard xDrive which is BMWs awd system
I do not like this trend to tv screens. Bring back the two round dials ( both rotating clockwise) and physical switches which can be operated without taking your eyes off the road.
it is what people are buying. manufactures sell what people want to buy.
@@POV_Driving or vice versa people can only buy what manufacturers make. This is a cost saving measure by car makers.

@@POV_Driving market research ? Nonsense. It’s simply cost saving and market manipulation. There’s no real risk to BMW as their competitors have already gone widescreen. They’re all laughing their way to the bank. Anecdotally I’m led to believe that the majority of customers actually prefer physical buttons and knobs for certain functions. I can’t prove that anymore than you can demonstrate market research results.

works really well. I was sceptical too but after two weeks all is good. No comparism to the system Wolfswagen is using.
The buttons on the 3 series g20 actually sucked, and I always needed to double click for them to begin to register. The touch screen is more reliable
330i or 440i?

The screen is not even aligned with the wheel, it's out of position
The screen is so gimmicky, it seems to be the opposite of what BMW is about
I just traded in my 2014 428 for a 2024 430, my 4th BMW, and the screen is far from gimmicky for me, alot of convenient features displayed clearly... I keep the live trip view, instead of seeing a small gas consumption in a small box above my odometer on my old car, I have a detailed view of my consumption and power usage displayed, not to mention media for your spotify or music is so much clearer and easy to navigate through, dash looks less chunky with the flat panel
This is not 2024 its 2023
This is a 2024 model. It has the new idrive 8 update.
