Finally someone mentioned about the H/K sound system, which is incredible for 600 € option.
BMW is known for underrating their power output. There have been several Dyno tests using this power plant that show it's making 382hp to the WHEELS. Which would effectively give it around 450bhp. So the 3.9 0-60 makes sense

Thank you for the video. I have the M440i convertible. Thinking of this one instead. I love the convertible but here in the south I don’t put the top down that much. I also would love easier access to the back seat. I think grand coupe is a great option!
Love your channel, keep it up. One suggestion for improvement, if you're going to do any 0-60's in any vehicle, please come to a complete stop first every time.

How about during high speed? Is there any noisy sounds regarding frameless doors?

To some people full M is too stiff and too much tire noise for daily. This is the sweet spot. I actually know few people who live in NYC that downgraded from M to M performance because of this issue.
7:04 I have the 2019 440iGC and the reason you can hear the engine noises inside the cabin is that ARTIFICIAL engine noises are generated and fed through that expensive sound system through the speakers and subwoofers. I found out about it online. Then when I was using an ECU programmer, I saw in one of the menus a toggle to turn off engine sound enhancement. Now my cabin is more silent like that of a luxury car. I am sure BMW is continuing the practice in the M440i.
I have a 23 430 awd GC and the ARTIFICIAL engine noises are piped thru the stock sound system as well
@@craighermle7727 Yes, Teslas certainly are cheaper cars than BMWs.
@@BSGSVand Teslas are POS IMHO. So as long as we are pumping fossil fuels out of the ground I'll drive a BMW.
Maybe make a full stop and use launch control if your doing a acceleration test

I have a 2021 Audi S5 and looking around when it comes time to get a new car. I've had a C43 also so why not try a BMW?

Cars have a break in period on the engine.
This is more generalized:
Mileage: Typically, the break-in period lasts for the first 1,000 to 1,200 miles (1,600 to 2,000 kilometers).
Speed Limitations: It's advisable to avoid exceeding 4,500 RPM and to keep the speed below 100 mph (160 km/h) during this period.
Wow! This just about changed my mind on BMWs. Didn't like the early 80s,-90s models meh... This one I do like the bodily style and interior 8s beautiful. Side note... Does it come in any other better colors for interior? That red color, blah! Lol.

Dam, I really like i4 M50. But this one is so good and refill gas is way faster than Electric ....hard to pick
Great video, small suggestion; when you are accelerating or trying the paddle shifts your enthusiasm/comments diminishes our ability to listen to the engine and overall sound of the car's response. Otherwise excellent work and thank you!
Been driving one for the past few weeks and love the car. The assisted driving feature works but not that well. It swerves everywhere unfortunately. The rest of the car is amazing though. I like it more than my M340i
Its very hard to chose between the m440 gc and the m340. Because you have driven both of them, which one has better acceleration and which one handles better?
BMW has always been slow to the game when it comes to electronics/human interfaces. I had heard the $1,700 package was better than the stop-and-go I had on an x2 m35i. That system was pretty nasty and very unpredictable. It seems BMW has adopted its own "Blue Cruise" I don't the BMW/Ford approach to self-driving is going to prove to be sustainable. Th

I have a 2023 m340 with Hk sound system. The system is average at best. It even distorts listening to audiobooks at 50 percent volume. Very disappointing.
I think this one has more speakers....are your door speakers in the sedan in the same place as these are....? Thought the sedan had the door speakers lower

The good thing is after the factory warranty is gone they become a money pit.
the R/T numbers are bogus, lol... "prepared" track. trust in BMW.
The new interiors in BMW look stark and uninteresting. Last gen was much better IMHO.
