It’s very controlled and limiting. Xenoverse isnt perfect by any means , but in a good day you can tell the intent is there.

Zero is really tryna let you relive the Dragonball moments, which is why they’re so cinematic and nice looking. Xeno is tryna give YOU all the DBZ tools and let you do what you want .
this is the best DBZ game ever made only thing i want is in player rooms add a chat and gives us morre time to pick our team before we are up next to fight ....also add the ability to easily make friends via a friend request thing after ur fight or something like that
My biggest wishes they add: Random character/stage/music select Training mode saves the settings I want/add more settings to make it like other fighting games

The Sparking Episodes are pre selected options that are part of the main story, but when it comes to the “Custom Battle” mode, you can actually get pretty detailed and choose what you want. At least from what I’ve seen so far

It’s the fact you can actually feel yourself getting better with every play you get used to enemy moves even if you had to retry the battle 3-4-5 times the counters the dodge the ki deflect the timer the alternate time line stories that the game doesn’t actually tell you how to unlock you have to look at clues from the wording
The game is so good the only thing I wish they would of added was 2v2 battles so you and a friend can battle together. Me and 3 of my friends joined a lobby only to find out we couldn't play a 2v2 what a disappointment. But it's cool I guess the game is so fun good review 👍🏼

Sure its great but it lacks combat depth and hitting feetback. Although something feels used up very quickly not sure if stages of that most characters feel the same
It Needz to have an extra 20 seconds during selection cause the select lag adds up and messes up dp battles, also the filter needs to stop resettingafter each choice. Has your saved data not delete itself or is it just me?
I hope they will add some very hard custom stages or new episodes thst gices us some dope items and accesories becsuse so far there is litetally zero accesories other than scouter and halo ... And you have so many slots i thoght we can change appeareance a little or add different auras , sparks, thunders, glasses etc theres nothing :(

The game looks great except a couple of weird touches. The game feels awesome when you start playing. Unfortunately, it is an extremely frustrating mix of weird decisions and mechanics bloat that ultimately lead up to a pretty frustrating and disappointing experience that is exacerbated by major bugs and baffling design decisions Im putting it down until i see improvements. Its too frustrating to play past a beginner level
That’s fair, I haven’t personally ran into any mechanical or bug issues, but I feel like it’s a major improvement over the previous sparking games in terms of gameplay
@@InnovativeJdawg I strongly disagree. The defense mechanics are out of control. Mid-High level play (I'm A4 in ranked DP) is a stalling meta. You can super counter everything. Nothing ever lands. 50 chain vanishes happen every time someone has any ki. The game needs a serious balance pass, and possibly some defense mechanics need to be removed entirely. super counter is my arch nemesis. It makes the game unplayable

Menu is very annoying with the voice overs, graphics are good and then not too good at the same time it's odd .. Huge Dragonball fan btw, I will continue to give the game a shot
@@LegacyRap7777 I guess it panders more to players from bt3 era since I mostly avoided other dbz games after bt3 (yes even fighters) this game is literally feels like m back in high-school that itself makes me so happy also the control is similar enough (classic atleast) I can even hold myself in ranked currently in c1 as well as beat entire goku story including what ifs (bt3 had crap story mode so the story mode being slide show dosent matter to me in slightest however one thing I miss is the ultimate battle mode of bt3 that thing was rewarding )

the game is trash, zero child friendly, the high difficulty is not for player who jsut play form time to time, and absolut not for children, i got this for my son who ha his birtday today adn he did not even defeated raddti becuase of the high difficulty, even after choosing the slighty easier one he was still not able to do it, he jsut plays form time to time so not a 12hour and more gamer, so if you are not a 12 hours and more gamer this trash game is not for you becuase you need pro gamer reflexes to be able to do all the dodges and keep up with the enemy
Sure, games like this aren't typically aimed at younger kids. It's rated "T for Teen" after all, so if a young kid is playing it, they're gonna have a rough time because A) this game IS aimed at an older and more experienced audience and B) kids aren't really good at playing ANY video game, not just this game. I wouldn't call it trash just because it has a harder difficulty.
@@InnovativeJdawg all tenkaichi gaems so far where starting 12 hell one even was starting 6, sure it was easier but bandai killed DB for the younger gaming group, my 12 year old son who is a huge DB fan and has his birthday today was very disappointed, and if you would look a thte cover it says USK 12

Just bought this last night, but only messed around with training. So far it looks gorgeous, and i can see me sinking some time into this.

I agree, I like the progression and being able to learn things on my own without the need to look it up or go to the training menu
There are actually hints that tells you how to get to the other paths. Blacks for instance says defeat an enemy within a certain time .
Can you play 1p vs computer with any of the characters?
Yeah, you can play solo against a CPU!

The only thing that kinda bothers me is how the characters become a little stiff for like 1 second but that's it for me so far.

The particle/energy/motion effects are too excessive. I wish there was a way to reduce them. Can hardly see the attacks.

The only issue I had was when I first booted up the game and it froze during the tutorial. I haven’t had any save data get deleted
