This is a gameplay, let's play series creating a realistic detailed city whilst still managing traffic, creating efficient public transit networks, managing services and balancing the budget! I love this! It makes me want to pick up CS2 again! I hope you keep the sewage pond once you’ve unlocked the waste treatment plant. Once the waste pipe is gone and a few paths are added, Chit Shute National Park can be born!

Really great episode! Love the look of the city centre. One little suggestion: the small triangle plaza with the little fountain needs some shade for the pedestrians sitting on the benches, maybe adding a tree would be cool.

I'm really enjoying this new build and the mix of management and detailing! I suggest you name your city Vanfewver, because Vancouver is the largest city in British Columbia, which the map is based on. It could be a source of urban-planning inspiration as well (look up 'Vancouverism').

Very nice start to a new city. I love that small custom park/playground and the walkway along the shoreline. Nice to see you back in CS2 and finally having all the tools you need to make amazing builds.

Already loving this vibe of detailing and mods FC! I think from above/birds eye view I find CS2 kinda plain, but your detailing up close of the parks, alleys etc is really beautiful. :) First person view makes a huge difference.

Start of a new city is the most exciting part of the game. So much potential, and so much challenge to build a successful city. Sad that Solitude is ending, but always happy to see a new Few city.
I'll second both "Fewattle" or "Fewcouver", and throw in "San Fewcisco" for consideration.

Rather than using MoveIt to try and align stuff, you can simply click parking lots (or anything) and then just shift along whichever axis you want... just hit the asterisk to make sure you're transforming the position relative to itself and not the rest of the map. Oh, and that thing you were looking for early on at the junction: hold ALT in manipulation mode to keep the nodes sliding along their existing track.
Futility Bay? Given the Economy 2.0 tile costs? Or rather Fewtility Bay of course...

Seeing how the smokestacks aren’t built in components of the factories, but spawned in by the game, I wonder if it could be possible to have a mod, perhaps called “No Smoking,” that reduces or eliminates smokestack spawning. There are definitely too many, and they’re too smokey, at least for present day industry that tends to be cleaner than older industry was.
This was so exciting Few. As one who voted for playing through the milestones I'm so pleased to see the combination of detailing and gameplay. Looking at those mods, I think I'm now convinced to buy 🤗
Names wise - I'm sticking with Genie (for water shape on map) for the wider area. But do very much like the suggestion of Fewhaven in the comments below for this first town.

Jughandles? Never heard that term before! Always called them Jersey Turns. Lots of em in Portland so not far off the Pacific Northwest feel
I am fairly new to cities skyline. Mind boggling how cool cotoes skyline 2 is with the ploppables (I dont know how to spell that, nevermind that). It looks amazing, i lobe your city. Now this is speaking only for me but i really like sotry telling and I would love to hear the stories you come up with for blocks and the parks and some roleplay as if you were a resident. But thats just me.

My name submission is Fewquay Varina. There is a town in North Carolina called Fuquay Varina so it's a play on that.

A dump as a feature, I love it!
I lost a ton of money until I got to about 9K citizens then suddenly I started making money. I had to increase taxes to 12% and reduce services to outside my comfort zone for a bit. But then again I guess it works. I used tools I normally don't.
Can't wait to get a laptop and download City Skylines. Until then I'll stick with TheoTown which I love either way
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for making a poo pit instead of just dumping raw sewage into fresh water. I don't understand why other YTr's don't do this. Even those who are involved with city infrastructure in real life see no issue with dumping diseased waste into the ecosystem. I know it's just a game, but I highly doubt that the Finnish engage in this practice. If the game is going to be about realism, the poop chute has got to go! Again, THANKS! You just earned my subscription (and I don't often subscribe).

In order to be able to use assets from findit, do we need to colorize our zoning area? the building will not demolish once we hit play? Anything we need to enable to allow assets from findit to grow or at least not demolished?
You’ll want the mod plop the growables, this allows you to plop buildings outside of zoning squares or zoned areas, it also locks the levels of the buildings if you wish so the assets don’t change appearance. You can plop directly from find it without it but you’d have to make sure it’s plopped into the correct zone type and they will often disappear or change!

I’ve downloaded the mods that you listed and my UI disappeared. I’ve tried to use the shortcut to get it back, but no luck at all. Do you have any idea which mod can cause this please? I am using nvidia GeForce now, so it can’t be a system issue I think.

i recently found out you can get almost 20 more fps by closing water animation in the dev tools. even more suprising is nothing changes visually when you make it zero. the sad thing is when time passes it returns to 1x speed and fps drops again. please try this and you will get the idea. i am trying to find a solution to this problem help me
