Kees, it's just muscle memory, look my UA-cam avatar, that's 4 month transformation. Do you think i built shoulders like that in 4 months? It took YEARS! And yet time between those photos is 4 months because i stopped working out for a half year or something and when i went back to lifting i gained the muscles back superfast.

If you're classed as underweight in BMI, generally, that would be anything under 18.5, and overweight is anything above 25. These measurements don't apply to everyone as all body types are different, but I think you meant something other than 56.5 BMI.

You'll get there my man, had a "Dad bod" myself when I was 19, but after i started lifting weights I got defined muscles after a year. Starting is the hardest part but the 6months/1st year is the best feeling ever.

If skinny guy gain weight you can gain lot of fat and it doesn't look like you gained any noticable amount of fat, because it's spreading around your body. If your goal was just to gain size, very well done, but now i would slow down a LOT! You are gaining weight way too fast. 2kg in month is good speed. I know you would want to get bigger fast, but you need to be patience!

Came back to this video because I’m obligated to. I have done this workout block consistently for 6 weeks, including the eating portion, and have gained 20lbs/fill out all of my clothing now and noticeably different. I just hit two plates on bench press (previous max was 185lbs). I share all of the same struggles Joe mentions and his ways of combatting these issues are fantastic. Obviously a lot is required on the individual level but Joe’s advice here is PHENOMENAL. 315 bench/205lbs body weight, here I come 🫡
