The Calypso is still my favorite ride since I rode it at 8 yrs old at Riverside Park in Massachusetts. However when Riverside Park was bought out by Six Flags in the 80s they got rid of it. So freaking sad. So haven't been able to ride it since. Now I'm 72 and still longing for a ride on it. So glad to see Cedar Point has it. Not all that far from Connecticut so maybe I can get there before I croak.😊 sure hope so. I just love that Calypso ❤

I hate the corkscrew. That's where my lowest ranking rides. Cedar Downs is one of my favorite flat rides since there's never a line and you can always get right on even on a super busy day. It's just overall a very fun ride especially when you're with friends
Everyone, please don't listen to him about the Cedar Creek mine ride. It's not as rough as he claims it to be. It never goes fast enough to be really jarring. And while it is not a thrilling rollercoaster, it's still Genuinely fun and never has a super long line. I've been hearing rumors about it being in the shadow of the wrecking ball. I hope that does not happen because it's ramshackle appearance fits so well in Frontier Town. It's kind of the centerpiece of it.
Rougarou is the most underrated and overly hated coaster out there, the first part of it is genuinely the most fun I have ever had on a roller coaster (beating steel vengance and millennium force)
I do like the redesign better because the G forces feel different and it's more comfortable, but it is not as good as millennium and steel vengeance in my opinion. But it's great you like it so much.
Bro magnum is way better than the absolutely miserable and boring ride on valravn and definitely better than raptor, I will forever simp for mommy magnum xl-200
The mine ride isn't bad! It was my 2nd favorite, I really suggest you should go on the mine ride and go on the Iron Dragon roller coaster it's a lot of fun! I literally almost fell of the Woodstock Express but my brother had to catch me before I fell out because I was on the edge instead of the middle and it tipped really far and I almost fell out. Windseeker is also a fun one you get a nice view.

I went down a slide at water world like riptide race way and when i was racing my friends as i was going down i wanted to adjust my crotch so it wouldnt be smashed by the drops, so i adjust then i cant gdt my hand back on the handle, then right where it exits the dark tunnel to the open i flip over on my back and slide down, and you know at the bottom the ground is a little scruffy well, its like that the whole way through. My back was scatched up by a cheese grater.
tbh. i loved matterhorn. the roughness added to the thrill and me and bestfriend both loved the speed. one of the few non-coaster rides we went on and i loved it.
Excellent countdown. Skyhawk is the only ride I regret not having ridden; the Cedar Downs I rode the clone of at Blackpool, and Sky scream was down when I was there. Also: thanks for putting MF above Maverick. Thanks for posting!

I like Steel Vengeance but it’s sister Twisted Timbers in Kings Dominion is better. But Iron Dragon will always hold a special place in my heart it was my very first rollercoaster I’ve ever rode. All those years and thousands of rides later I still make a point to ride every time we go.

Your right, corkscrew isn’t as bad as everyone says and it is not headache inducing but on the rows on the back of a car ( 2, 4, 6) hurt your neck really bad even if you are the perfect height the strain will really hurt
Corkscrew was my favorite as an 8 year old. I rode it last fall and I am too tall. To get the harness attached, I had to slouch my back and every bump made my spine dance. I still rode it a second time...

Gemini is fun if both trains are running because you can ham it up with people in the opposing train. Not really worth it if only one train is running. I COMPLETELY disagree with the placement of the mine ride. All TRUE roller coaster fanatics know that it is a genuine CLASSIC and nothing to mock. The "whiplash" is just you complaining about it not being as smooth as gatekeeper. But a REAL roller coaster isn't that smooth but instead gives a real factor of intensity and fear. Just because the speed and height of the right isn't valraven level doesn't mean it doesn't deserve a higher ranking. You are just BLINDED by popular belief and a sheep in the eyes of Cedar fairs. You need to educate yourself before you make such bold statements on coasters you know nothing about. Let this be a learning experience.

I don't ride roller coasters at all. I just ride flat rides and carousels that's it. Well rides that aren't roller coaster I ride. I don't do water slides either.
That lazy Rivers got a spot in it that ain't so lazy and on lake Erie eagles don't snap the cars it may seem okay and seem fine but the people who work on those they have stated that it weekends the crimp on the cables so don't be that person who ignores what the maintenance crews say it's serious equipment to keep us safe not so we can make it unsafe

As someone who lives outside of Sandusky and goes to CP 4-5 times a year, the Valraven is one of my favorites if not my favorite coaster in the park 🤷♂ especially if you ride in the front. That first hang drop is awesome and it's a smooth ride! Maverick is awful, I'm sorry, who praises Maverick? It's incredibly rough.
This has to be a troll comment, valravn is a one trick pony, after the first drop you get boring inversions and a second small hill, I prefer Magnum as you actually feel forces on that ride
