I have been going to Cedar Point every year for over 40 years now and I would like to add some tips. First if you are planning on staying more then 2 days GET A SEASON PASS it will be cheaper. Secondly Get an all day food pass and and all day Drink pass and split it between 2 people. With the food pass you can eat every 90 minutes so you can alternate and eat every 3 hours. With the drink pass you get a drink every 15 minutes for plenty of hydration. Third, while standing in line don't be afraid to spark up a conversation with other people in the line. It makes the line seem to go faster and you never know... you may make new life long friends. Finally when in line and under the covered pard for the Maverick, be sure you yell "MARCO" as loud as you can then listen as the rest of the crowd yells back with "POLO".
I already knew most of these tips, but it was still helpful to watch this as I am planning on going there with friends this July. One tip I didn't know about was the Cedar Fair All Park Passport. I won't need it for Cedar Point as I am planning to stay at Castaway Bay for my visit, but I'll still need it for other parks that I also plan to visit such as Michigan's Adventure, Valleyfair, and Knott's Berry Farm.
For a 1 day trip, I do believe that the Fast Pass is worth it as your cutting 1 hour waits to 5 to 10 minutes. This allows you to get in 4 to 5 times as many rides in a day compared to regular lines. even if it's 4 times the amount of a regular ticket, I still think that's worth it.
First time to CP corkscrew was the new ride. Used to be I could figure out the best day of the hear to go. Through to about 1998 I always went on labor day. I could do everything in the park several times plus some shows like the IMAX and dolphin show. Then once balloweekends started I started doing two day visits as Saturdays were busy and then Sunday was a much more manageable day. Popularity grew a d then the gold pass was introduced. I've been in May, I've been in October a d every month in between. Be prepared to wait in line. Stay a couple days.
Number one thing to never forget - it’s not a normal day at CP unless something breaks down several times. Number two thing - there’s little shade in the summer. Number three - it’s a very long walk from the rear of the park to the front.
I’m going in early June and it looks like it’s one week before park hours extend to 10 so it doesn’t look like I will be getting any night rides. Luckily, I did buy a season pass since it ended up being cheaper for my situation when including the cost of parking so and while im not close to the park im not that far either, Roughly 3 and a half hours away. With that in mind im hoping to Make at least one more trip later in the summer and one trip for Halloweekends in the fall so I hopefully can get some night rides at that point.
We are taking our first trip this year for our anniversary which is July 19th and I’m sure the crowds will be insane. I just checked and the price of fast lane plus is $199 on the Saturday we are visiting which is our day 2… I just don’t think I can stomach spending $400 on a fast pass for 2 people…
Thank you so much bro, I’m going with my mom in July and I honestly couldn’t be more excited. There’s just so much information here you cover, and I just couldn’t thank you enough. I have a few quick questions though, just how much better is this theme park in terms of thrills compared to the Universal in Orlando, as that’s pretty much the best theme park I’ve visited up to this point in my life. How long do you think Top Thrill 2 is going to be down, as for me, that’s a bucket list ride that I want to do at least once. Also, is there any option at all for a free locker anywhere, as there are lots in Universal for the rides that require you to put your items in a locker. That’s all the questions I have. Again, thank you so much for the tips and information you provided in this video, and please keep it up. I know that if you keep making videos like this, you will surely get a much bigger following. You’ve earned this sub
It’s an amusement park so it’s gonna have bigger coasters overall than universal (except maybe rides like Hulk/Velocicoaster etc.) which is a theme park but wayyy less theming/immersive elements which ofc Disney/universal is unmatched at. U can’t rlly compare Universal and Disney with amusement parks tho, Disney/Univ is all abt experience/world building/theming/immersing u Top thrill will probably be down for a while unfortunately and could potentially be down for the rest of the szn. It sucks but we just have to wait and can’t do anything abt it I don’t think there’s free lockers anywhere except steel vengeance which is still rlly small that’s why a lot of ppl only wear Fanny packs or keep things in zippered pockets the whole day. The lockers are cheap tho and it’s different for every ride
@@battlesadge5433 ah ok thanks for the information. I don’t really care about the theming so long as it gives me a good ride. It actually sucks that tt2 is gonna be down, i was so hyped for that 😭😭😭
@@Alstryx yea I def like bigger rides over theming too but I do enjoy both espec at Univ/Disney. TT2 being down is mad annoying but I’m glad I’ve at least been on Kingda Ka once so I’m just telling myself they’re very similar lol
@@battlesadge5433 i was gonna go to six flags great adventure, but when my mom gave me the option of going to cedar point, i immediately chose cedar point over six flags. I don’t really play tf2 that much but i’ve seen the situation and it’s been really sad from what i’ve seen. i do hope it gets fixed soon cuz i play it from time to time and its pretty fun.
@@sourlimesoda, we just got back from our trip too. Steve would not let you bring a fanny pack in line (to store in the small in line lockers). We just got the all day locker for a few days and then I held the bags on other days. It still worked out fine! We got better at using the all day transferable lockers and moved fast!!
for steel vengeance, you are not allowed to bring anything on the ride and they provide small lockers for you to store them, but the other large coasters, you can wear a fanny pack on them
I don’t think I’ve heard anyone talk about bins for bags on the rides. I understand there are lockers for most rides, but what if I want to bring a bag and not use lockers? Are there bins on any of the rides?
Ty!!

i’ll definitely make sure to apply the last tip lol
Love the nod at Roller Coaster Tycoon with the background music 😊

Exactly 💯
Or come on Wednesday/Thursday could do the trick right ?
You would think. We went yesterday (Wednesday) and our AVERAGE wait was 1 1/2 hours. We waited for steel vengence for nearly 2 hours. @sensey181
@@SamanthaM. Dang that's a lot 😭 Thanks for telling !
im going right now thanks!

How was cedar point bro
@lorenzoperez9049 it was a good trip. Hit all the big coasters in the two days I was there and crowds weren't that bad.
Thank you!

If this guy is trying to grow his channel, why didn't he answer your questions ❓
Are you able to wear a small Fanny packs on all of the other rides except for Steel Vengeance & TT2? Thank you!
Good question
As of my last visit on the 4th of July, yes you have to wear them on most rides. Most of the rides would only let you put shoes in the bins

CP is cashless as of 2023, so bringing cash can be an issue. Need a CC. Appreciated the video.

Very few of the rides have bins, so a locker is pretty much required
For number three it can hold less stuff but I would bring a big fanny pack so you can wear it on rides
Teething issues for TT2. LOL. that's an understatement
Is the park cashless?
Yes it is
Animusic soundtrack lol
Cedar Point is the closest park to me it’s a 30 min drive
You called cp an extra ordinary park lol
Breakers at the end of August ill be there for four days...
