Snider just couldn’t see him through the right sideboard.
It happens the announcer said respective spots, so he was pulling up. Freddie didn't know, and neither did the other driver. Roberto Guerrero Indianapolis 500 pole sitter 2nd warm up lap shifts gear and spins and hits the inside retaining wall. S**t Happens.
I remember Guerrero´s crash... never had another serious shot at Indy.

Just a odd accident to me. You can't see much of anything out the right side because of the wing and the guy never saw Freddie.
To flip like that he had to be going much faster than parade lap speed. He probably was accelerating to catch up to the field and the other car wasn’t.
I’ve seen similar shit happen.
To those that think he was going to fast or that the other guy turned into him on purpose, you cant be more wrong. First off, its hard to see out the right side of the car. Not just the wing, but also these full contaient seats make it an even more difficult task. Second, someone said that the guy shouldve heard him if not seen him. Haha. Its not that easy. Especially if youre getting on the throttle as well even the slightest bit, youre going to drown out the persons car coming from behind you. Third, every time i lined up for a race, especially a feature, i had the car at full throttle for a set of turns at the very least. When you hit the track after some time between the last time you were on track, you want to get the feel of the car before you are getting the green and most definitely if youve made some changes to the set up. Its just an unfortunate outcome and the only thing i can say is that if it were me, i would be on the throttle a bit harder if im going to change lines for the veryy reason of someone coming up behind me.

I’m just a grandstand jockey, but these turn left dirt cars are hard af to drive at low speeds in iRacing. They do turn right, but at low speeds, they want to go all over the place.

Saw a big crash like this at Oshweken speedway a few years ago. The cars were coming out of a 4 wide solute and locked tires…
In Australia had the same thing about 20 years ago. Four cars flipped on the salute lap

Instead of getting a ride from a fat bloke on a quad, the ambulance crew is actually supposed to check the driver after a flip and bring him back to the pits.

Which one? The guy that came up didn’t know he was coming and the guy that flipped was trying to pass to get to his starting spot and didn’t know the other was about to come up.

@skaldlouiscyphre2453 there's no spotters in this type of racing, hard to hear when they aren't accelerating. He didn't know he would try to squeeze into that tight of a window
If Freddie Rahmer is racing his family 51 car, they usually have bad finishes. He is good in the Rich Eichelberger car but in that 51 car his results are usually bad, especially at Port Royal Speedway.
When you end up in the "B" main. Your racing or lining up against some drivers with little or no experience
At the same time, Rahmer has way too much experience to end up in that position. If he waited another 100 feet they’d be in turn 1 where there’s much more room to pass.
