My grandmother use to make her beignets similar to yours, but when I was young I thought my grandmother would live forever so I never bothered to pay attention to all the ingredients and procedural steps to make them. When she was gone, so was the famous recipe and no matter how hard we tried, we could not replicate the recipe. When I saw your video and heard your lovely voice, it was like my grandmother was speaking to me and showing me, reminding me of how she made hers, through you, of course, with your beautiful instructions! Thank you so much for reminding me of how much I miss her and how we need to keep our family traditions alive.
