- This episode sees us finishing the last leg of our NT experience where we hang out in Alice Springs for a couple of weeks to allow time for the car to be repaired from the tyre blowout incident.
We take a look at the gorgeous Simpsons Gap and spend a few hours at Desert Park. Our time in the NT has been amazing and we wrap up our costs and favourite places as we cross the border into Queensland.

Thanks Paul 🙂It soon adds up!! This one was a killer as we had to replace the tyres, had the brakes done, a service and a few other repairs on the van/car!! Hopefully that's it! These figures didn't include us flying back to Melbourne 3 times either! We only included costs on the road 🙄 Thanks for watching 🙂
@@lappnitup hopefully you should get a good run out of those tyres. We have a set of them on a cruiser so far have done 69800ish ks trouble free driving, a variety of terrains/roads towing 3 & 1/2 t Van 50% of that I’d say a 1/3 tread left 😊😊 and mate it’s only money and they print it every day it will only rot in the grave with ya lol 😂

Thanks Stewie, we were in the NT just under 90 days but we flew home to Melbourne a few times as we had a grand baby born and we picked up my mum. So around 68 days all up. Not cheap at all but no point being the richest in the cemetery!!!!
He’s the best drunk talker I’ve ever heard!! Sober and drunk 😂
The last 30 has really dragged 😞
Thanks again the NT is an amazing place. Hope you had a fantastic Xmas and New Year and I guess Tony had a couple a drinks 🍻 Just 6 weeks before we hit Tassie so have been watching your trip there again for some places to visit. Stay safe with that rain in Qld.

There’s so many beautiful places in Tassie both East side and West. We loved Stanley, Strahan, Cradle mountain and St Helen’s. Depends on how long you’re going as to what there is to see. It’ll be a great trip anyway😊.
We are getting swamped in Airlie Beach at the moment. It has rained 24 hours non stop 😩

It’s shocking!! Our kids were coming up today to go on a boat charter with us but the airport is flooded so their flight was cancelled 😞
