Sorry just about missed this one busy packing for Tassie next week. Thanks again. 😊 forgot our new Pajero Sport Exceed arrived last week so will leave the Lexus home. Keep doing what your doing as we are going to Tas after watching your trip. We did leave the UK driving with friends to go to France, Belgium and Amsterdam via the Chunnel, back then they didn't need any documentation apart from just showing their passports and didn't need them stamped but us being from Australia we should of been checked out of the UK and gone through customs in France. We spent 3 weeks travelling Europe as illegal immigrants as when we went to put the car on the ferry to return to the UK from Amsterdam they looked at our passports and wanted to know how we entered there country and how long had we been there as we hadn't passed through customs, I said we went through with friends who drove us through the Chunnel from Folkstone to Calais. If not for our friends who worked for the intelligence for the police and had some contacts we were heading for the detention centre. I can tell you my wife was not happy Jan, after a number of hours and phone calls we were released and was advised next time to follow the correct procedure. Never been back 🤣 how's that for a chook story.

Thanks Stewie and lol I’ll remind him it’s afternoon!!! With the stay ropes are you meaning the stretching rubber strap at the end or the square edge black box with a circle cut out? They are solar lights which spike into the ground. They give us a bit of light and stop anyone tripping on the ropes. 👍😊
