That is true with many people with a public profile who still dress like they are a train wreck. Many of the fashion points that Miranda talks about everyday women can incorporate. For example, dressing in a monochromatic hue is great, the late Princess Diana did it frequently. One of the benefits in dressing in a classic style, one can purchase previously worn apparel from premium brands at sharp discounts.
So do many Hollywood celebs. Yet most of them look like slobs on a regular basis.
But Catherine actually listens to her advisors although she has great feel for what works for her. But all the beautiful clothes in the world won’t make you beautiful if you don’t have a smile and interest in those around you.

True. But they still have to work with her coloring, body type, etc. The key is "signature style." That means they stay within what works for her. Anyone can do the same with some effort. And that's where most of us run into the problem 😅 We really have no idea what truly works for us.
I would add: her use of accessories is perfect, never too little or too much, just right.

I specifically love her coats. They're classy, comfortable, and fit perfectly.
She dresses elegantly, but has the occasion to do so. Our culture here in the USA has become so casual that we seldom have an occasion to dress up. The nicest dresses I have are for church because my husband works there, but most other people just wear jeans. My church dresses usually double as my attire to weddings/funerals. I have stared wearing more dresses as a stay-at-home-mom to look more put together, but still it’s not an occasion to look elegant like Kate in heels
I agree. Here in Montana the dress is so casual you can usually find someone (usually a guy but not always, lol) in jeans, plaid shirt and a baseball cap at any event. I really wish people dressed up more. Even fancy gala-type events have now devolved into ‘come as you are’.

Bravo! As a married man I have learned a great deal about Elegant fashion from your channel. My wife is very fashion driven. During a recent discussion about her clothing choices my wife was curious about MY fashion tips and recommendations. So much so that she asked if I was seeing another woman. Of course I said "not at all." Then I asked if she had any nude colored heels. Now she was convinced that I was living a double life. Then I introduced her to your video. She still looks at me funny but now we speak the same fashion language and sitting in dressing rooms with her is much more tolerable. JR

I highly recommend Queen Letzia of Spain and the most of all queen Raina of Jordan For looks . I’ve actually bought some pieces that each wear from Mango and Zara both stores from Spain. Aquatalia . The high - low
look . Classy and is Chic is free of the typical designer label look . Just one key piece is enough : a Chanel bag or a Cartier watch

@@punacampbell1461 There's always a sugar in one of these channels. While Megan can look well dressed occasionally, it is not the norm for her. Most of the times, her apparel has wrinkles, ill fitting. Even women with modest means, can get an iron or a steamer out and have their clothes tailored. Megan has a staff, so there is no excuse for her.

step 1. be gorgeous, step 2. be super fit ..once you have completed these two steps everything will look great on you
It's difficult in the US where the emphasis is more throwaway chic than classic. Example: the insane difficulty here of finding taupe or nude tone kitten or low heels, your term "court shoes" (love that for its suggestion of tradition and formality). Classic clothing, not only difficult to find but if you can they are usually very expensive or custom. What you find here in mid-range price fashion is poorly made, garish colors, styles created for either the teenboy copycat look (skinny, androgyny) or its polar opposite. Many of us who want to look classic, classy, feminine - just give up and settle for t-shirt/jeans for casual or some version of a suit for professional office work (women's suits being an unpleasantly copied male versions). Classic go-with-everything blazer in a neutral color? Good luck on that one too. Pencil or soft a-line skirts? Nope. On offer: Skirts long enough to sweep dustbunnies or too short even for college kids and often shown with thick soled Olive Oyl clompies or combat boots. No wonder mature adult women in the US are despairing! Time for me to move to London, for sure!

I personally think Catherine looks better with straightened hair look, with slight volume at the top. The curly ends makes her hair at the top look flat. I've never met her in person, so my opinion is based on the photo & video material. I remember that one look where she looked particularly good & would like to see it more. Unfortunately, I can't post photos here. A lot of her beauty also comes from her personalledy. She took the job and does it fabulously. William could not have chosen any better. I'm very happy for the family!

I have never though Catherine’s hair looks flat. In fact, she has tons of hair and it always looks beautiful. William has even joked about her hair being a force unto itself. Wish my hair looked like hers.

Miranda, I think one of the biggest struggles I have is finding a really good bra. Since I am closer to 60, let’s just say the upper part has deflated as I have lost weight in the last 10 to 12 years… I really want them to be further north than they are, but I don’t know where to go to get fitted.

It is a lovely, classic style of dressing and right in line with my taste; however, she has designers to dress her. It would be very hard for normal people to be able to come across such beautiful dresses that are tailored to our bodies. I get the idea of what you're saying though.
She does mix a bit of high street in - and I believe it's perfectly possible to achieve a similar look on your own - stay tuned for lots of fabulous tips on how to do it!
She shops at zara alot if that helps
Buy what you can afford, but try to find a tailor or seamstress close to you and get it fitted to your body. A little alteration goes a long way in taking your clothes to the next level.

Well I’m not a Princess or an aristocrat or even work in an office. This video was interesting and informative but doesn’t really help me, an average person who works a physical job and doesn’t ride in parades.
Why would everyday people want to dress like Kate? It is her job to dress like that but it isn't practical for most of us. Plus most of us. Can't afford to do that. They way she dresses most of the time makes her look older.
