This is a really good tip for side scan. I have watched most of your videos and I enjoyed them very much. A lot have been learned. Keep them up. Thanks.
You should call your channel sonar for the common man. Can’t wait to hit the water this year with what I’ve learned after finding your channel this winter.
I have a Minnkota Terrova 36 volt motor. It does have spot lock/ jog/ and you can set tracks. Track feature is nice when long lining for crappie or either dragging baits for catfish. The 36 volt 112 lb thrust will last a long time even in current. Thanks for watching! 🐿
I try to get close to the cover without going over it. If I’m 20’ deep I would like to pass within 20’ of the structure that I believe is holding fish.
And I appreciate you showing us tips using side scan and down imaging for those of us that don’t have live scope…

Thanks Catfish and Crappie!🐿
Seeing fish in the water column vs over the lake bottom is as clear as night & day. I’m new to side scan but this is exactly how I’ve been doing it.
Great video
Thank you Myriam, I appreciate you watching!🐿
Really good video….
Thanks just got a unit with side scan, I though you could see them better than that, I see I have a lot to learn😊
Sometimes you can see them better against the lake bottom. Depends a lot on the hardness of the lake bottom. Thanks for watching!
