Tudor's done it again. Another brilliant video which has shown me that (as usual for me it would seem) I've made a couple of errors installing my Airbuster. Back to my LP to get it right this time and which will hopefully stop my Airbuster leaking down over my Heat Sink and leaving me with a saturated, sloppy puck!!! Thanx again Tudor!
3 questions/comments: wrap the sealing tape (it's too thick IMO) with a bit of tension on it from the first layer, rather than tensioning it up at the last wrap : this will coat the threads in sealant a lot better, and not lead to micro-galling & porosity in the joint; use a proper-sized screwdriver for the screw slots; why do you include an incredibly cheesy and inaccurate pressed metal spanner in the kit, if you're going to require the assembler to own a 17mm socket & handle? Why not just put a "Needs 13/14/15mm/whatever" spanner instruction on the box, along with the "Needs 17mm socket" one? It just turns into unnecessary scrap metal at the end of the process anyway, as you wouldn't want to use it for anything else.
