We have all done dumb things. That is when you're super happy to have that tow membership! One year, as a new boater I used the membership three times (two break downs, one empty tank). Talk about re-cooping your money! The empty tank happened 26 miles offshore! The previous owner neglected to tell me the fuel gauge wasn't accurate and just above 1/2 tank was "empty". Yes, the boat was a beater. I was in college and that was all I could afford. While we were out there waiting for the towing company I helped the Coast Guard with a stranded boater who's radio was so weak they (the CG) could only hear the mic clicking. I could hear the guy talking so I relayed his info to the Coast Guard. Funny how life puts you in those situations.
I’d rather hear the Hondas do their thing, instead of the music, thanks. Boy, with all of that sand/silt running through the water intakes, that must really do a number to the cooling systems on the outboards.
I see a dude one day come in getting towed and he didn’t look happy. I looked into what it cost to get towed without a tow membership. And signed up that very day never get on the water without my boats USA towing membership. It’s that important and very affordable.
Yes please no music!! Can’t hear the true sound of the recovery and your wonderful comments. Especially the soundtrack with the electronic drum beat, really ear piercing with headphones. Love the videos as they are without music. Thanks
As the old saying goes, you haven't been around till you run aground. Although, with a new 41 Jupiter, think I would be a little more cautious with a million dollar plus boat!
What was the rush? Just wait for the tide. I guess the boat operator doesn’t care about the equipment. Hard on the outboards and if the towline snaps it could be deadly.
@@CaptainRetriever that’s a shame. They sound like great engines. What are you thinking for your next ones? Hard to know best salt water motor, I’ve heard of people having pre mature corrosion issues with most brands.
Still working on UA-cam, different audience, but I do have well over 300k followers on my other 3 platforms. I appreciate input, if you notice most new stuff, I fade it to barely audible.

You make it look so easy! Well done, as usual.
Honda has some good advertising here. Love seeing machines work and do their thing. You are a great operator

He s stirring up the sand behind the propellors. The propellers are in relatively clear water above the sand. Your assumption is wrong.
@@stevendegreef93if you think none is getting swirled back into engine, your wrong.
@@stevendegreef93Your so crazy lmao 😂 coming from a commercial crabber
😂@@docUSSNeverSail
Congratulations, you are the first and only person to ever say that about a Honda.
Hard aground is putting it lightly! What a mo!

Never thought of doing this. Learned something today!
And the best part about this while thing...Seatow was sitting out there watching 😂
I think the tow boats are kind of like seagulls in that area "mine. Mine. Mine. mine?"
Well done great job 👍🇦🇺
Keep it going and continue sharing!!!

Nice work, I wonder why you did not use one of his forward cleats?
They were just pop ups set in teak, run the risk of bending or damaging the wood. The stern was the only solid cleat.
Is that a Pursuit? Luv those offshore models over 35'.
THX CAPT 👊🏼
Bloke with three outboards on his boat gives you prior warning he may be an idiot. 😂
Just enough music to help me really enjoy. Thank you!
Just wait for the tide and save all the wear and tear on both boats
why not go through the bow to anchor point .. should be strongest connection point
Probably just bend the anchor chute, also usually a sharp angle that cuts the tow line.
Can you let me know what is your preference for Honda outboards
How did you get the first clip? Do you have a camera set up at that spot usually?
Yes, PTZ camera at Sailfish Marina. They hit all around that bar, but that’s the closest one to the camera
More videos!
Trying to make them when I can. Adding the audio takes a lot longer.
@@CaptainRetriever Please consider leaving the music out. Personally I'd rather hear the motors and ambient sounds of the boat's operations. 💯
Why do people run aground right there so often? There are plenty of markers, i dont get it.
I really don't get it, the water is halfway clear too, you can see it pretty well..
Bravato trumped intelligence.
Lose everytime.
No bow eye. What about hooking to the anchor windlass?! Spun it right around with all that prop wash.
He would be the professional so knows best I imagine.
All that tension on that line...aren't you ever concerned about things going "ballistic" from snapping?
Kill the background music next time pls pls pls pls
Why do you prefer to pull outboards by the Front??
It’s the way the boat is designed to go. Strongest point is typically in the front
All the delicate electronics are in the back
And its easier to swamp the stern.
Rumor is that a lower unit or two is under water in that corner.
Maybe a pod, but outboards & I/O’s usually handle it well.
Get him a new captain too by the ways 🤓

Is this the sandsprit triangle
Wow, all that money in a boat and no brains for navigation. Should have left him to wait for high tide.
We do that and then we don't make any money...
How do you rate your Hondas?
@@ClintHowen if it wasn’t for corrosion they’d be great engines. Lower units, and exhaust manifolds need more zincs.

@@ClintHowen not my decision, but Honda is the devil we know i guess
Lose the music
To much music. Hard to enjoy
Too much whining, hard to enjoy your comment😅
Yeah that music sure sucks, but hey at least it’s repetitive!
YOUR BACKGROUND MUSIC RRRREALLY
SSSSSUCKS
GOOD LICK

Maybe the music isnt ideal but his spelling is excellent. 👌
