Wohoo, thank you for checking out PVKK! Can't tell how excited we are that people are interested. We fiddled for long in secret and at some point it gets tense, because we had little idea if anyone really was interested.

Looks very very good! Realistic looking controls, used look on everything, dirt, rust scratches, smears in the window corners, cushion distortion in the TV screen windows. Beautiful rain running down the window. I love the attention to detail concerning the looks. Let's hope story and game will be equally fine (certainly the even more difficult part to get right).
I know i dont speak just for myself when I say... IM SO EXCITED! There is a HUGE community of gamers that love the retro style heavy weapon theme that you've got here and there's not nearly enough games out there to satisfy. This is definitely gonna be a smash no doubt about it!!

ICBM would usually be one way trip so the gameplay would either probably checking list of everything working and dry fire test or as actually fire them but it's against some back water nation that have zero concept of thing we're about to drop on them or we'll be commanding an anti ballistic missiles systems with job of shooting down the ICBM

This reminds me of Missile Command, an old 8 bit game, but in hi resolution 3D and from the point of view of one of the defenses
The video of the female commander talking and the news of "record potato famine for the 17th year in a row" makes me think that either the government is a sort of totalitarian regime or the war isn't going so hot.
I lean towards the former because 17 years of consistent record potato harvest is the kind of thing you'd hear about in a communist country, I know Romania under Ceaucescu would do that a lot and have huge displays of "harvests" even though the fruit was just painted wood. Though the cassettes throw me off because I know that there were some who were able to get cassettes the high quality ones would've been Western or Japanese. Still the flag seals the deal for me because it looks like two hands, begging or uplifting, a diamond.

@@iplaygames8090 Sorry for the late response but yeah she does. East and West German uniforms looked somewhat similar aside from helmets and some insignia. Kinda curious how GDR uniforms compared to other Warsaw Pact uniforms

EHHHH not quite, but I like the enthusiasm. Bear in mind the BIGGEST Battleship Cannons ever built was like 451mms (the side of the Bore), and those things where HUGE if the Remaining Iowa Class's 406mm Barrals are anything to go by.

With how incredible Dome Keeper is turning out and how enthusiastically Bippinbits always communicates with their development, this game was an immediate sell as soon as I heard of it and learned they're the developer a few days ago.
As a German, i can say that your pronunciation was perfect.
I just want to draw attention to the tea cup real quick. It looked empty to me. Sure, the ad didn't show the whole interior of the cup, but the implications of tea being a daily ritual even in the absence of any tea is a bit grimdark.
Also, I love seeing guns that could seamlessly fit in the Warhammer 40K universe because you expect an 800mm air defense gun in WH40K but the Gustav ridiculousness of it when you're not in that kind of universe is just a nice change of pace.
On that tea thing again, that planet looked like Helghast's neighbor, who's almost as Hellish; no tea in the cup could be a sign that the planet can not grow tea. Lots to sink your teeth into in this game, and I eagerly await seeing more with ya, pal. I hope this game scars you in the right ways.

I'd love to make a spinoff where you are on a planet and defend against a tyranid invasion both on air and ground, from your bunker. One can dream!

Played it yesterday at Gamescom and i am absolutely thrilled! The sounddesign is so massively immersive and great, the cannon got the right power and you get chills everytime you fire.
Cant wait to playtest and maybe VR in the future?

It would mean the person has the rank of planetary defense commander, kind of strange but I love the looks and the feel, you found a real gem there. And yes, Subnautica was and is another one, I should get the arctic one. If you have not played - try the Breathedge, supposedly second part is coming, but that one is a real gem. The music and some of the things are understandable only to ex soviet countries, but it is still hilarious even if you do not know all the lore.
I would love a multiplayer for this, just working with your friends to command a cluster of cannons would be super cool.

This reminds me of Wolfenstein New Colossus and it's DLC campaign, specifically with "Captain Wilkins" missions, where you get to control an AA battery in a similar way like this cannon.
Anybody looking for a safe space lol. Get real.
