Hi guys! My name is Ivan, I'm one of the developers of Sea Power and I owe you some explanation: In this video there is a bug introduced by me (already fixed) that makes player units immune to enemy weapons. Thats why ships are just eating missiles and torpedoes and goes on like nothing happens :)
Hi sir 👋 is there a possibility to apply for a creator program or something? I also would love to promote your great work by streaming or uploading videos. Best wishes and thanks in advance.
I would say that the defensive systems on the Russian ships are WAY overpowered. The Moskva could not shoot down a single R-360 ASM, the Ukrainian version of the Harpoon that the Ukrainian's used to sink the Moskva.
Hell Yeah...Microprose, one of, if not the best game developer for sims in the 90s. The sheer amount of bangers they made, whether it was land, sea or air, was crazy, title after title absolute baller of a game company back on Amiga. B17, M1 Tank Platoon, Silent Service, Gunship, Knights Of The Sky, F15 and so many more are still untouched to this day IMO. Can't wait to see what they come up with in the modern day.
Well consider that it's the only capable weapon a carrier have, and is the last method to save a carrier (if missile surpass every layer of defensive. 260,000 rounds of CIWS are worth it

Remember, there's no such thing as too much ammo unless it's on fire.
The Ship at the start Screen is my beloved and most beautiful ship at the 7 seas ever built, it's the Battleship BB-63 USS Missouri from the Iowa Class of Battleships! :D
The question is, are mods possible for this? Because I think it'd be absolutely amazing to see an Ace Combat mod where one can wage the naval campaigns that have been a major element of each game.
Yes, the devs have stated before that the game will be completely moddable, with the ability to reskin stuff, to adding completely new models with their own unique stats.
I played Janes Fleet Command so much, though I didn't really fully understand it all at the time, love to have a go at an updated version now I am older... yeah looks good too, I am very interested in this :)
This looked interesting cinematically, but it wasn't clear to me what you were doing as a player, other than maybe sending broad instructions of what direction for a couple of ships to go. Everything else seemed automatic -- ASMs, SAMs, CIWS, guns, etc.
This is great! I can't wait for this one to come out, it'll feature prominently on my channel too! The biggest gripe I had with Fleet Command was the micromanaging of firing each missle. It became overwhelming at times whereas this allows you to play a little more 'hands off' which I think is going to attract a much larger audience!
Looks like a fun game. My question is it biassed towards the nation the player is or Russia? Seems like most of your missiles were effective and the majority of theirs were shot down.
I think its insulting you arnt giving janes fleet command any credit this is a modern rendition of, down to the encyclopedia. They had such a great game in the 90s
Hope it is exactly like Fleet Command and nothing like Command. Command is way to hard. You have to go to war school for 2 years to understand anything. Fleet command was the perfect level of hard.
@@VectorGhost I think they have mentioned in discord that there are some potential ships like this they were never built but there is a setting to you can have for historical ships only.
