As for winter, it’s tolerable. It’s not as humid so it doesn’t hurt as much but it does stay colder longer. By March it’s usually okay 👍🏼 I have an entire video on my channel about winters if you wanted to check that out as well 😁
Toronto winters are far worst than those in Calgary. If you are planning to come to Calgary from Toronto. You are making the right choice.
I haven't stayed in Toronto during the winter but I've heard that it get's quite heavy snow storms - would you say the snow is heavier in Toronto than Calgary as well?@@hondah2o

I think you could expand the list. I think that the reasons not to move to calgary are dependant on whether someone is a city person or not: lack of urban life, no museums/art galleries, not artistic/creative at all, very little independent film, far from other destinations except mountains, quiet suburban working town, cold/winter 8-9 months a year.
I hate calgary and i grew up in edmonton and calgary. Both cities are boring for me but i am a total city person. I dont care about mountain activities whatsoever and i hate how suburban the city is.
The city does not suit me at all but some people really like it and wouldnt like the cities i love. I wish my family wasn't in calgary but oh well.
No ocean park here in Calgary, animals are sleeping in Zoo during visiting hours, pretty boring place winter, colds, raining, less sunshine, no charging station for ebike in all parks
We are the sunniest place in Canada? We also don’t get that much rain, we are pretty dry actually. I agree with the zoo though 😂 that’s facts
I developed bad allergy in Calgary. I need to move… Dryness is killing me, too, as you age it gets a lot worse.

omg should you not be happy that people are moving to Calgary? there seems to be no pleasing you agents. You all complain about how bad the market was from 2014. on , then when it improves, you find a way to put it all down.Debbie Downers
I appreciate your comment and I want to clarify - it’s wonderful that people are moving to Calgary. My entire channel is based on helping people from other provinces and countries have a smoother transition to Calgary. I just wanted to create a video that helps people become aware of the cons of moving here as well so they get the full picture 😁
If you need a bus shelter too in the winter you ain’t getting one because most likely homeless people will be sleeping in there 😂
