Serenity found. Spending this time following you two is a moment of bliss. In the years I have followed your adventures I have found it impossible not to have you gently touch my heart each and every time you post. You two are amazing and so easy to love. Look forward to seeing you on your next post! Stay happy and enjoy your beautiful selves. Love Doc!
Congratulations to you both on your engagement. You make the ideal couple and thank you for allowing me to see your world. The film making is superb, I have a Mavic2 Pro drone but have never achieved the quality you manage to achieve. Would you share your video settings ? Looking forward to more of your film making talents. Thank You.❤❤❤
You kids are living the dream and i hope you keep it for for as long as it works for you. (Side note). My beautiful Isabelle, your culinary creativity is amazing and i think we all would love to see what you can do with your native ingredients. I know i would! 😉
There is an excellent synopsis of the "Freedom to roam" rights that support your sailing, in the English Wikipedia. In Sweden, building fires on bare rock is one of the few controlled activities because it could result in rock cracking. Worth a look at the article, because it describes the right in most of Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand, plus some of the constraints. You guys are having so much fun. Enjoy your floating time.
It is great how you are showing how much fun and adventure can be had on a small boat even in cold waters! It brings back memories of sailing to Jewel island and Damariscove Island in Maine! Thank you for the great video!
Isabelle looks stunning in a yellow one-piece. One of the most beautiful women in the world. Always up for an adventure as well. Hard to find a girl like that. Music was terrific and video altogether a masterpiece.
one of my favorite areas to sail .. so happy to see you two showing the world our unbeatable sailing grounds .. thank you guys for doing this .. we need professionals like you two STHLM Skärgård =#1 Dont forget to show your mate Rödlöga and the market .. :D CHeers
A beautiful area to investigate with all those islands.. Google Earth shows them all, How fantastic to find that many little islands just together and a hop skip and jump apart.. so much fun and looks like a fantastic area. Thanks for the names of the places you stop at as not many other channels do this so thanks very much.
Yes, the water in Stockholm's archipelago is almost fresh water, or so-called brackish water. There is an inflow of salt water between Sweden and Denmark. Nor is it a tide.
Brilliant video, the archipelago is absolutely beautiful, and it must be so great to have your little island for the day. 😌 I know Isabelle looks great in any colour but she definitely suits bright ones too. Safe travels to you both! 😌
incredibly beautiful yellow on mamasita, but the cruising white dressed bird was amazing. Can you buy a atoll island? Great to see you guys agian, OsoYolo, Antigua Guatemala.
Beautiful! It wouldn't be a nice place to be tied up or anchored if a storm came through, but in the peaceful conditions you had it looks marvelous. We agree, she looks fabulous in yellow! Love the dress too.
But i Sweden there is never any real storms on the east coast. Winter and authum maybe, but during summer...nope (never cyclones, thornados and so on. )
That is wonderful. I'm used to storms coming through often, even if it is only high wind for a few hours. All those small islands offer protection from waves and they are what causes problems. Thanks for your insight. @@Qurex
Isn’t the water in Sweden like really cold?🥶 Rock climbers call them pitons, not sure if sailors call them the same thing😵💫Isabelle, I reckon? There’s some colloquial English😁
I've done this kind of sailing many times out/south of Oslofjord, both east and west sides (to Kr.sand and Hvaler). However, there seems to be few places/islands so desolate, tranquil and inviting as those in the Stockholm Archipelago. Maybe next summer I sail through Göta kanal to have a look ...
I cruised the islands of Fiji in 1962, there was no asking permission to anchor anywhere, it was and is an international right, and there were no ceremonies, except after a time, we were invited to carva parties. These polys have developed an arrogance, and want to scam visitors, and the tourists bend over and take it.
First up, it's not called "carva" but kava. If you'd paid attention when you were there, you would have known that. Secondly, "polys?" Never heard that one before, and I lived and worked in Fiji. Thirdly and most importantly, they didn't develop "an arrogance", sounds like that is more your problem rather than theirs. And lastly, as to bending over and taking it, they own those islands. If they want you to bend over, you bloody well bend over. Just like you do in any other country.
"international right" to sail and anchor in another country? Lol, you sound like an ignorant, privileged American... God forbid the locals make a little bit of money (Far less than fees you'd pay sailing in western countries) from rich westerners anchoring and fishing in their waters, taking coconuts from their palmtrees and buying up and inflating the prices of what little provisions they have /s
Nice little tour of the Islands that you were enjoying❤
Welcome back, glad to see you ! )
It's so fun and refreshing to get fresh updates from the Merewether crew 🙏 The team is excited and know the future is nautical 🎉

Amazing scenery. Interestingly, looks very similar to northern Ontario Great Lakes where we sail. All rocks and islands but fresh water.

Yes it's So nice. I don't live so far away from this arkipelago there you are ❤
We have that same all-mans-right here in Finland, basically all Scandinavia. Joka miehen oikeus.

Wow. What a beautiful place to explore. How cold is the water? It kinda reminds me of Maine in the states.
Water temp was around 18 degrees Celsius. Not to bad:) thank you for watching
Still impressed with the area, WOW ! Post-glacial era.
