How do you like your Beneteau? How well is it for blue water sailing ? Im interested in the Beneteaus but not sure how they will hold up to strong weather.
Apollo Morris We love our Merewether. I’ve taken my Beneteau out in some quite bad conditions and she has faired quite well. The best thing you can do is talk to as many experienced people as possible and make your own decision on what’s best for you.

I was in the Bahamas once. We were trolling a line with a jig. For two weeks we were snorkeling on a rope behind the boat like that. On the last day we hooked a barracuda and by the time we could pull it in (hand over hand cloths line), a shark bit off everything but the head. I figure the only reason we didn’t get bit is sharks know we’re not food. Just sayin.
Do you think hanging off of a rope from a moving boat might make some monster fish think you are bait on a hook? Killer whale, whale or some other big fish? I think that is the most dolphin I have ever seen in front of a boat. So now can you answer the question "Why do dolphin swim in front of a boat? "
George Minton hahaha I think fish and whales alike can tell the difference between us and there’re real prey or that’s what we hope. In our experience dolphins swim with boats because they enjoy seeing us as much as we enjoy seeing them I believe.
