The way who paints and gives the viewers of birds eye view is amazing. Wow I think I’m gonna go with this color for a dining room table. That’s been in my family for generations and it was passed down to me for my new apartment Thank you very much.
Omg, I'm looking for color in my laundry room and when you showed all those paint samples my eyes immediately went to Flannel grey and I loved the result on your wall. This is it! Thank you!
I love that flannel grey! Great choice. I have been looking for a true grey myself. What sheen did you go with? Thanks for the video! I love this color!!
If you mean satin finish, then yes I chose it on purpose for easy of cleanup. I don't necesarily think the color would look different with a matte finish. You might try a sample on your wall to see. Hope this helps.
If you scroll to the bottom under SUPPLIES you will see where I listed that info: "Flannel Grey" Behr Paint and Primer in one(FLANNEl GREY my chosen color) Home Depot
I love the flannel grey. I want to do my walls grey, but I’m at a loss of what color grey. I have a dark brown sofa & a 1920’s original wood flooring. Kind of like a medium hickory color. I have 4 bay windows, but don’t get direct sun…but nice light in day time. Anyone have any idea’s on which grey to go with? Thanks
I have brown sofa with dark floor , I paint my wall software color my wall with the light on look blue I hate it but in dark look beautiful grey !! Grey color is so hard to choose !! Now I’m painting my cabinet flannel grey ! Good luck 😃
Thank you for this video! I want a soft lighter true grey that doesn’t turn into blue. I’ve done that twice before even after having the samples hanging up and and painting small areas on every wall. So hard for me to find the right one. I will look yours up and try them out. Thank you so much.🕊🌷🕊
You are so welcome! I am so glad my video helped you. Thank you for commenting, and yes finding the right grey is hard. Good luck, hope your choice works out for you Let me know how it turns out!! :)
Oh also Elemental looked baby blue on my walls. But keep in mind colors all look different in different walls and homes. And Mountain smoke looked great on someones else wall but I hated it on mine. I still love Flannel Grey on my wall, i feel happy every time I come in the room, thats how I know I made the right choice.
FLANNEL GREY - go to 3:15 mark, hope this helps and thank you!! I still absolutey love this color, every time I go into the room I feel GOOD and know I choose the right grey!
Your elemental doesn’t look like the sample at Home Depot. I’m not sure but your Flannel Gray samples don’t look like the color on your walls. It looks a lot lighter. I think you painted silver bullet on your walls
I definitely painted FLANNEL GREY. Colors always look different in different light, different computer screens, different rooms. But Flannel Grey looks very much the same on my walls as it does in my samples. That's why I choose it. :) Now I also painted my guest bathroom Flannel Grey since I love it so much and it looks different there as the light is different. Nevertheless I still love it in the bathroom as well. That video will come up soon hopefully. . The best thing to do is paint a sample on your wall and look at it in different light during the day and night. Hope this helps.
Always paint a sample on the wall. Check the color in the day and the night. I chose a perfect gray color. Saw a sample on the paint can lid. Put it on my walls and it is nothing like the sample chip. UGHHHHH. Lesson learned.
Oh no, I also painted my guest bathroom Flannel grey and at first it looked kind of purple but once I finished putting up all the white moldings, painted the door trim and cabinets white, it now looks GREY almost like my laundryn room. But the reality is every home and lighting is different. Try different samples and wait to see how they look day and evening to get a better perspective. Good luck! Let me know if you have any success or any more questions. And also I finished my guest bathroom makeover in which I used Flannel Grey again and I really love that color, and will post video on that as well as soon as I edit all the videos. Stay tuned and Good luck!
There are a number of reasons: Lighting: This is a biggie. How much natural light does the room get? Does your room face north? Northern light is blue in color and will give a room an even cooler feel. East and west facing windows give either warm or cool light depending upon whether it is morning or evening in the room. Southern exposure will give you the truest color read at all times of day. Furthermore, you need to think about what’s outside your windows - A hill? Tons of green? A blue ocean? (don’t we all wish for that?!). A covered carport? All of these scenarios will color the light that is coming through your windows. What about non-natural lighting sources? Are they incandescent or florescent; are there tons of lights, or way too few? These all impact color. These all contribute to why your gray wall turned blue, or green, or even purple! Never choose colors at night with all the lights on only. You must look at them during the day in natural light as well. Context/Reflectivity: What is surrounding your color choice? It all affects your perception of color. What is your trim color? Dark trim will make a wall color appear lighter, and lighter trim will make it appear darker. The same goes for your behemoth dark brown sofa or your blue-gray carpet. Shiny surfaces like hardwood floors and countertops reflect themselves onto the walls as well. Sheen: Different sheens (flat, eggshell, satin, semi-gloss and so on) all reflect light differently and therefore our perception of color. HOPE this helps

My walls are almost brown I want to change to grey
Let me know how it turns out for you, grey is a calming, pleasant color and a nice change from browns
Flannel blue look baby blue in my wall why?
There are a number of reasons:
