    They said it'll be the worst hurricane season and it's below average.

      But Canada is drowning under heavy rains with serious damage. A Low Pressure cyclone just dropped 75 mm of rain in Alberta and Saskatchewan and parts of North Western Ontario and Manitoba. Jasper nearly destroyed in a few weeks. Two remnants of hurricanes (which don't usually get this far north) ravaged both Toronto and Montreal in the East. Not to mention the frightful flooding in the Maritimes. Just because the predictions aren't accurate in some areas doesn't mean they aren't stirring the pot in others. One thing was abundantly clear for this year so far. The last 12 months (which is a year) broke individual records for heat and it is heat domes to the south of us here in Canada which have allowed such levels of moisture to occur on the Prairies and in North Western Ontario not to mention the fires that ravaged Jasper as well as Alberta (Alberta has been experiencing both sides of the extreme).

I do everything I can to increase my CO2 output as everyone should. Do your part to make our planet greener and more comfortable. Consider driving somewhere just for the heck of it. Y'all can let your guard down and say predictions are falling short if you want but as for me as a resident of Broward County Florida, I know the next 5 weeks are the peak of the season - things can get crazy real fast with storms parading out of Africa like an assembly line. I'm still taking this very seriously, the ocean SSTs are way up and that means the dreaded rapid intensification. I won't relax until end of October and y'all should not either. I'm a veteran of several hurricanes including one major (Wilma) and they deserve respect!

    That’s because the people that predict the weather don’t know anything about predicting the weather

    • @professorakiba434
      @professorakiba434 18 днів тому

      No. Its because the models aren't as fine tuned. Give an example. Watch the radar on a given system and watch how accurate the prediction is. Sometimes it is spot on. But sometimes it isn't and that is because in the moment the model isn't taking into account a change in direction of the storm itself. The prediction is that it is moving in one direction away from you when if you watch the radar in progress its moving towards you. Which is one example of why it isn't a perfect system. But science is never a perfect creature. Which is why the heating of the atmosphere these past two years has gotten the science a little shocked and a little scared and a little confused. Because we are seeing heating that shouldn't be happening so quickly which should concern all of us.
