I love how Andre is just jabbing at the MCU critics telling them to just have fun. Also, Andre walking off screen to simp is definitely the best part of this channel. And man, I loved that guard in the prison. Also, Emil's got points tho....
If they have Deadpool and She-Hulk break the 4th wall at the same time, they have to both turn AWAY from camera to say something. Then they both look at each other going "Wait, what did you just say? Who were you talking too?" Then they just slow turn towards camera at the end.
It would be funny if, when they broke the 4th wall, they look in different directions, as if there's two different audiences they're speaking too.
Even better, if they both turn away from each other to speak to the camera, and one of them gets confused as to where the camera went until they turn around to see the other using it.

It's just hitting the right points
Confirming that he’s already been existing long enough to have been experimented on is a pretty big deal. It’s not just a reference or Easter egg, it’s a confirmation that mutants already organically exist in the MCU without a cosmic occurrence or multiversal shenanigan, which begs the question why Magneto’s twins (pretty sure they were adopted) needed the infinity stone to activate their mutant genes if Wolverine presumably didn’t. There seems to be 2 groups of mutants, one who has their powers inherently like Wolverine and one who needs an outside source like Kamala’s bracelet or the stone for the Maximoffs.

The "different person" joke reminded me of something. WandaVision broke the fourth wall in many ways, as TV tropes are actually part of the plot, but my favourite part is when Wanda contemplated on the word "kickass" (in-universe that's meant to make Wanda realise swearing is now possible when it wasn't before due to TV standards progressing). But the thing we all thought of was how both actors who played Quicksilver were in the movie Kick-Ass!

For the real movies, female body builder Vladislava Galagan would make a great She Hulk while Catriona Gray, Miss Universe 2016 would make a great Jennifer Walters - Attorney at Law. Both faces look alike except one is fully ripped body while the other is super sexy bod.
I'm glad I wasn't the only was excited about Larry from Perfect Strangers being her dad and I definitely agree about the first 2 episodes being released at the same time

I liked all the She Hulk episodes. I like how they expand the Hulk universe. Fingers crossed She hulk meets Deadpool sometime soon in the MCU.

I love the cascading celebrity paradoxes brought up by the "nice chianti" reference. Three actors who have played Hannibal Lector are in the MCU (Odin, Kaecilius, Midnight Man) and the fourth was in X2 (General Stryker). Two actors who played Jack Crawford are also in the MCU (Stick and Dr. Bill Foster).
Added to that, between them, Harvey Kietel was recast as Jack Crawford opposite... Edward Norton!
And to tie it all together, Kietel is a frequent collaborator with Quentin Tarantino and in Tarantino's first film starred opposite another frequent collaborator, Tim Roth. Who Jen was talking about in the first place with the reference.
I hope if She-Hulk and Deadpool meet there's a moment where they're in a group talkin about teamin up and they're just antagonistic toward each other. They say they can't work with one another, both turn to the camera proceed to break the fourth wall realize they did it. They both say the spoke too soon and go back into the scene and are now buddy-buddy and the other characters are like wtf.

Hulk's meta joke was gold! 😆 I especially love that he was the one to make it. It really shows hoe Smart Hulk combined the best parts of both personalities. I hope we'll get more references like this as the show continues. Daredevil should be coming in relatively soon and I imagine he could make some quirky 'Defenders' joke, but delivery it all serious.
That clip from Shang-Chi has thrown Marvel TikTok into some kind of frenzy. People are uploading left and right talking about how it either messes it’s or confirms when She-Hulk takes place in the overall timeline. They're using it to put She-Hulk at the same time as Shang-Chi, but the footage leak could've been from months prior and it,s only now seeing the light of day. Also, wouldn't Wong be somewhat responsible for that? I need answers man!
I really hope The Leader tease from The Incredible Hulk works it’s way into this show (yes it’s something I never forgot for some reason)

A lot of people still remember that plot thread thankfully. MCU shows have a tendency of throwing in surprise villains, and the Leader could easily fill that position here. Nothing against Titania, she's shaping up to be fun as hell, but she and the Wrecking Crew are hired muscle, not masterminds. I'm wondering if Mr. Blue will get a mention during Blonsky's parole hearing.
I hope he's already working for Val.
I think the end credit scene will be Val recruiting Abomination.

Episode 2 was way too short. I like that suggestion that Disney should have released episode 1 and 2 at the same time.

no, i think they're fellow villains/anti-heroes who are going through some problems. maybe banner can help them by taking them to sakaar and beat up some people along the way. villains are people too.

Ralph Boner was definitely a multiversal Quicksilver, if you try to watch that show now in retrospect, there’s no other explanation, Agatha somehow got another Quicksilver to manipulate Wanda into giving her information. Agatha does not have the power to give someone super speed/powers, only mind control. My guess is with the instability of the multiverse, the Westview hexagon opened up a gateway to another universe somewhere that Agatha found and used. There’s some kind of cosmic link the hexagon has since Monica Rambou got her powers through it too.

Great review Andre, I've seen a few review vids and your the first person to suggest combining the 2 episodes into 1 and I've gotta agree. Especially with how short episode 2 was. I'm liking the series for what it is. Rooting for a couple more cameos or something.

That was a great point about the episodes being released at the same time. Episode 2 felt more like a short. Not a good stand-alone. This has still become my favorite series thus far of all the Marvel releases. Love your reviews, Andre!

I really loved this second episode. The humor was really solid (which is subjective), we got a lot more of Jen and her relationship with her family and some of the struggles she faces as She-Hulk. I get why people felt triggered for her kinda dissmissing Bruce´s pain in the first ep, it´s always dicey to bring a new character and have them antagonize the more established ones.
100% percent agree it would´ve been better if they released both episodes together. Nevertheless it´s been great so far
I can't believe Blonsky pulled one over on her so easily. He literally blamed Bruce and The US Government for what happened at Harlem claiming he was just a pawn and that he was only following orders.
He blamed the government’s orders and the serum making him go crazy, not Bruce. He only talked about his perceptions when talking about Bruce. His defense wouldn’t had worked back in the Incredible Hulk era, but now that we’ve seen what the serum has done to others in Falcon/Winter Soldier, it actually does work.

I agree that they should've released both episodes from the start! The first episode was her origin and explained why she's now a Hulk, but this episode was much more of an official pilot for what the show will be like I feel.

Oh I always get hot and bothered, but must save for special occassions! Without spoiling anything, there is definitely an "empty chair" moment coming up in a future episode LOL!
This episode aired on my 30th birthday this past Thursday, and that was ultra special. Glad to be alive for that. Felt truly special.
Anywho, regarding the episode itself, 5 big takeaways from it:
- Wolverine exists in the MCU, and I'm goddamn excited about that. He's my all-time favorite superhero.
- They FINALLY referenced Eternals. And haters wanna say that that movie was "a big pile of nothing". Yeah, right.
- The meta reference to the Hulk recasting? *chef's kiss*
- Looks like World War Hulk is coming!
- Really delightful to see Tim Roth back as Emil Blonsky/Abomination. I honestly never thought we'd see him again.
Overall, very fun follow-up to the pilot episode.
Can't wait for next week.
Also, the whiny douchebag man-babies that still wanna talk shit about this show can go kick rocks. I am enjoying this, and they ain't gonna take that away from me, no matter how hard they try.
