      There is a guy who makes kinetic sculptures out of wood, and it is extremely beautiful work!
      Search for 《David C. Roy》 right here on UA-cam, and you will see the epitome of beautiful woodwork, kinetic sculptures!
      Watch the 《Wired》 video on him, just to get a taste of his art!
      Either that or just watch the videos on his own channel, he features quite a bit 《if not all》 of his sculptures in individual videos!
      These are the type of sculptures that you can hang on your wall, or some of them can even be corner pieces!
      They are not what I would consider cheap but I must say that they are absolutely amazing works of ART!

      I couldn't help but imagine the scenario in which you are walking around some park and some ingenious idea is about to dawn on you which could make you famous and rich, but next second you see the sculpture and the idea never comes back to you again.

    Art is subjective...beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
    But how anyone might not find these kinetic sculptures
    beautiful, intriguing and inspiring is beyond by comprehension.
    The jelly fish had me mesmerized.
    I kept replaying the same segment.

    These things are gorgeous in person... saw one when i was in San Diego and it literally stopped me in my tracks. I stared at it for a good five minutes. My daughter gave me a little history on the artis. His work is beautiful ❤❤

    Now this is the type of art where the price-tag is validated, the hard work, the skill and craftsmanship,most of all,the sensory experience. All this other shit hanging in galleries, with a square painted on it going for $200,000.00 can fck right off,along with the "artists" who created them.

      They are just like bonds. They don't have a value by themselves. They are just used for money laundering.
      A direct transfer of $1 million is definitely suspicious but just selling the person the painting and tranferring $1 million can be just viewed as a purchase.

    I'm a huge fan of kinetic sculptures that utilizes electro-mechanics and programming or even more so the power of natural elements like wind and sunlight. I assure anyone whoever gets up close to see these amazing pieces in person, the amount of energy it takes from the sculptor to produce such intricate pieces. Absolutely unique and alien in nature, beautiful. Amazing work Anthony Howe! The last kinetic sculptor I was so very honored to meet was from Korea. U-Ram Choe, check him out!

      Nikola Tesla Yeah. But the "Black Square on White Canvas" is worth 15 million dollars.
      As an artist, I find it disheartening that a good sculpture that took effort and planning is consider "cheap" than a painting that took a mere 5 minutes.

      It shouldn't discourage anyone artistically. Value is subjective. Some art is basically a Ponzi scheme. Some art really speaks to people. As an artist, this guy is successful, because his work communicates, and he can make a good living.
      There's the added bonus that he's made things that are beautiful and appealing.
