I rode on the China Airlines 350. When you sit above the wing it is like driving a car. It is one of the best long haul airplanes in the sky.
More likely a new A220-100/300 competitor.
Maybe considering getting revenge on what Boeing did to them?
A350 ON TOP!
It is going to take decades for Boeing to recover from their missteps. I am really puzzled that nobody thought they were playing with fire when they pulled all the stops to push the 737 Max despite known technical issues that needed proper solutions. I can't even begin to fathom any CEO betting the house like this, without foreseeing the consequences. A couple of high ranking managers have destroyed Boeing's spotless reputation as a company, and got away with it.
This is mesmerizing!
Stupid how AA delayed or reversed their orders. Would have helped a lot with 777x delays and replacements of 777-2,777-3 and 787-7,787-8
@@Dan_the_Great_This is part of the demise. Airlines have to look at their own wealth, and even if I am certain the US companies want to support Boeing during these difficult times, they also need to grow with the traffic demand. As long as there are only two suppliers, I am guessing Boeing is safe. Even if Airbus would, they can't take up the slack. Only Embraer could be considered as the third supplier, but they do not compete on the same segment anyway. United has scrapped the Max 10 from its want list. That is also a blow. Dennis Muilenburg is CEO of another company, probably because he did so well at Boeing; there is no justice!
Pity Embraer didn't do a single aisle competitor to A320 and 737. Lost opportunity.
They proboly lack the finanscial backing
@@matsv201 If they had started it seriously, the money would probably have come. But you can't expect to get fruits if you don't plant and care for trees to grow.
@@jgnclvgmng5408 im not sure about that. The issue is that they are based in brazil
Maybe, but they have such a handle in the regional jet market it almost doesn’t matter. They have made so much money off the E Jet series (E170, 175, 190, and 195) that they really don’t need to produce another jet until they are done milking the profits from this old platform. They have done great providing competition for Bombardier.
@@matsv201 Money would have come from outside, if there was a reason for that. And there's lots of money in Brazil, sadly strapped by corruption and politics.
Considering huge market demand for 737 and 320 there won’t be any problem for Embraer to sell competing planes .
Embraer needs to be mindful of releasing E2 aircraft with the problematic Pratt&Whitney GTFs... They should go after CFM for another engine option. Then they'd truly be giving both Boeing and Airbus the willies.
Don't know if that would actually be a good idea but i would love to see Embraer do that and I believe that as long as they have enough funds, they can do a capable a320/737 rival.
Can you a piece on what planes are stuck in deserts and why are they not being used. Plus what's happening in Russia with their western lease jets
E 195-e2 not incredibly successful but a nice aircraft .Embraer does not want to get in the airbus Boeing-crossfire.
All these anti Boeing comments are not from frequent flyers right now airlines are hunting down any available max 8 or a320 series family
If Embraer will produce a new aircraft, it should be a replacement for the category of B 757/767. Since Boeing and Airbus are not interested in this category
Given how the 2020's are going I shudder to think ahead into the 30's.
Not a good idea for embraer, when airbus is 2orking on a next generatioj narrowbody its not the right time to make a narrow body
better for them to pursue their turboprop project
Means all new A320 clean sheet?
@@parimal7528yes but that's no where near in development
How will Embraer resolve the supply chain issues that Boeing and Airbus have to contend with?
by not buying parts from Spirit Aerosystems
hope so the 737 MAX is well S**T.
Can you talk about beregional in your next vid its the new flybe 3.0
Can you please keep asking in the comments to EVERY video like a 2 year old?

Thanks Dj!!
I would have thought Embraer were more thinking about the A220 market.
If I were an airline CEO, ANYTHING WOULD BE BETTER THAN BOEING!!! 😄😄😄
They could always license out the MAX rival to Boeing. So Boeing finally can return to producing quality by building modern designs of others according to plan. They'd only have to sort out their production issues. So... Nah. If I were Embraer I wouldn't let my name be attached to that.
I love the Airbus but it needs a competitor to maintain their standards. Boeing is no longer able to keep up with the current demands of aviation. China aircrafts cannot be trusted. Embrear is the only company who can try to challenge the Airbus.
Who says boeing is no longer able to keep up with demand of market in aviation
@@nickolliver3021 they are busy with their greed over safety. Iam not saying. Check what's going on across the present world news & facts. Don't argue
@@rajeshraghavan2248 How are Boeing more interested in their greed over safety? Just because of whats been happening doesn't mean they still are busy with greed over safety

@@jgnclvgmng5408 Neither have the airbus clowns. they have never changed that much. They didn't care for 20 odd years. Either they are not what they want the company to be or they go. Improvements is all they can aim for. not the opposite

Ar India A 350 Have One Off The Best Business Class Cabin In The Skys My Oponion,Great Video And Info
I thought it’s layout is Aeroflot one & they will change it to their own when they start receiving newly manufactured A350s 😊
@@ricky1231true but their new product is nearly the exact same with different colors.
Would they not try and compete with the A220 where brand loyalty is lower, build cost lower and closer to their current products and we know the 220 is a profit loss maker for Airbus. We know the Russians will need planes after the war and western lease firms will not be quick to supply
A new Embraer aircraft similar to the A320 and 737 is nothing new but can they compete with the market?
It would be tough for them to recoup the billions of dollars needed for the R&D, testing, and certification. The A220 already competes somewhat with that market segment.
Airbus has a huge order backlog, while Boeing is self-destructing.
What are airlines going to order, the friggin MC-21? 😊
With Boeing imploding, it would be common sense for Embraer to explore the possibility of entering the mid-size jet market.
Embraer haven't the money to do so, BUT they may build copies of the Comac C919 or the Tupolev equivalent. Simple Mathematics it can only be building a licence copy. Russia needs CASH. China needs a market outside of China.
I am wondering why COMAC does not simply purchase Embraer? this would actually give them the market to push the C919 outside of China.
Licensing the C919 with few modifications might actually make sense. But such a deal would require a deep dive into the plane and technology.
I doubt that it would work out, for political reasons alone already.
@@jantjarks7946 It would be really stupid for Embraer which already has a name and reputation in the market to license something from a newcomer with 0 experience and reputation, particularly in the international market. It will take at least a decade to see if Comac as a company is any good, let alone any specific plane.
Embraer should have done it at the time of the MAX MCAS fiasco, because the writing was on the wall at the time. They didn't now sadly it's too late.
@@jgnclvgmng5408 For Embraer it's about the resources(the original reason for the bust Boeing deal), for Comac it's about the reputation.
If done right, both would have their advantages.
@@jantjarks7946I agree with you. China's COMAC is a response to the hegemonic domination of the two main companies making airplanes today. Mainly also because the domestic Chinese market can fuel the sales on its own. The C919 is not ready for the world, other than possibly some niche markets.
China could have purchased Embraer, but they did not, and that I don't really get why.
I think the E2 jets are a great BCS3 competitor (I refuse to call it the A220 as Airbus didn’t design this jet, they bought it.)

At 2:37 - the Emb E2 series has some trouble in the US market because of its size, briefly referenced at 2:04. A scope clause in contracts between pilot unions and major airlines limits the number and size of aircraft that may be flown by the regional affiliate of that airline. The E-jets are too small for most major carriers, so the regionals (sometimes wholly owned by the major) fly them, but they must limit their number. The A220, by contrast, is big enough for the majors and is selling much better. Airlines can buy as many as they can afford and fill them with passengers without being limited by a scope clause.
E2 is only too big by TOGW. the scope should be adjusted to raise the weight to allow more efficient (yet heavier) engines.
The a220 is also limited by the scope clause……
Please Embraer, kick Airbus and Boeing into competition. But be aware not to end up like Bombardier.
An "E3" series would be a really decent addition to the market. While it sure won't hit the market anytime soon, the demand for this plane size won't go away anytime soon either.
🌬️✈️
It’s early for an E3. A larger sized aircraft should bear a different name altogether.
@@l0z586 It sure won't have "E3" as an official name, but it should be rather obvious what is meant with it.
😉
They nearly ended like Bombardier since Boeing was going to "absorb" them. That Boeing was unable to financially carry on with the overtaking could have been a blessing for Embraer.
@@p6x2 It probably is. Sure, with Boeing's influence Embraer probably could have gotten the E2 170 or 175 into the US market. But imagine the mess Embraer would be in right now, being exposed to the very same "make it cheap" philosophy under Boeing's MDD leadership.
I think it would be a wise strategy. Boeing & Airbus can't output them as fast as the airlines need them. A third choice makes sense.
so is it just 737 max rival not the A320 series? any one can point out how biased is this “AB fans” channel… they r trying hard to put Boeing in bad shape. clown fr a reason🤡🤡🤡
