It would be interesting to note the correlation of pay to performance in these companies that are losing huge amounts of money. Why aren't airlines deferring deliveries of aircraft with these PW engines? Airbus is basically delivering aircraft to airlines that are ending up being grounded and costing the airlines money. This is being constantly viewed quietly while everyone keeps blaring trumpets about Boeing issues, but it's going to force airlines to suspend operations, or go out of business completely.

United should buy either spirit or JetBlue, won’t have to worry about deliveries and can get some good routes like in the Caribbean. Maybe JetBlue more, i know spirit would be cheaper

I just love to see when there are plane orders!
Looks like Pratt issues far from being solved..
At last, United going to CFM for their powerplants !!
I believe the A321XLRs and NEOs will swap the P&W engines for CFM Leaps. That’s a smartass move for United though.

Not since the Electra crashes booking agents are reporting heavy interest in avoiding Boeing aircraft.
Boeing is in serious trouble. Airbus moving in for the kill with the Airbus 321 Neo. Watch out Boeing .

Smart move by United Airlines. I am (slightly) interested in more information about the mysterious Max-10. Would be interesting.
Right!
Shouldn't Spirit see an increase in passenger numbers as more people decide to avoid Boeing aircraft?
Welcome Airbus 321 Neo
And Jet Blue will buy them. No court can stop them then.

Exactly.
United Airbus of a321neo's excellent choice. ❤😊
I wouldn’t be surprised if United decide to cancel 737-10 orders and move on with Airbus Neo families.
Good update. I'll not fly on a Boeing ever again. Good to see united placing an Airbus order.

Thankyou for the neo engine option United has chosen. Much appreciated
Is the 737-10 as long as a 757-200?
No
Who cares. Any MAX is a death wish as far as I am concerned. I’d never choose an airline that runs the MAX.
