Great video man! You seem knowledgable about the Dunhill line, what can you know about the Savory company? I have a Savory Curzon, but as far as I've been able to dig up, Dunhill only used the Argyll line for their second pipes under Savory, is that true?

Sorry I meant "what do you know about the Savory Company as a Dunhill Second Company?"

I've never heard of Savory, but I did some research. It was an old English brand, started in 1885. Some of their pipes may have been made by Dunhill and also Parker. If you have one, it's probably around 100 years old and may have some value of it's own. Regarding "seconds," Dunhill does not produce second quality pipes. Most of Dunhill's bowls are cut by other producers, and Dunhill selects on the finest for finishing and final production. They reject many, many bowls, which go back to the original producer, and then are most likely sold to other companies, which produce lower priced, but still first quality pipes.
