Hi, Asia@Night! Thank you for choosing to fly with us! We're grateful for the trust you've placed in our airline. We hope you had a pleasant journey and looking forward to serving you again soon.
The Bombardier Q400 is made in Quebec, and some of the assemblers of the plane are Filipino-Canadians. De Havilland is building a 607 hectare facility between Chestermere and Strathmore in Alberta and they will be building the De Havilland Dash-8 400 in that facility.
I flew this route 4 times since last year and really enjoy the Q400 experience! Amazing views, too. The flight path your plane took on arrival to Bacolod is the usual route when performing a landing into the Silay Airport from the south, descending along the coastline then a left turn into final approach towards Runway 03.. Did you enjoy the green peas and dried mango? 😁

I just pick the mango out😁
I agree, better view than a drone's view.
Thanks, I was lucky with good weather
You landed at RWY 06 (facing north) so that explains why your aircraft had to go around the coast and do a long final.
Yes we flew in from the south, great views of the city
Is there flights from BCD to DVO?
Yes
Hello Asia@Night , maybe the erruption off mount Kanlaon has something to do with the route over the north off Negros Island?
It was a couple of days before the eruption, I think that's the normal route for smaller planes👍🏼
No other place in the philippines can match a Negros Occidental view from a landing aircraft...
i think next place you visit is panay island?
