David Draiman of Disturbed, and ex-Filter guitarist Geno Lenardo recently collaborated together to construct Device. The album takes strands from hard rock, industrial, and electronica, and as a result, Device's self-titled debut album for Warner Bros. Records is a focused, fierce, and fiery new machine.
It all started while the Grammy Award-nominated multiplatinum powerhouse Disturbed was on hiatus, Lenardo reached out to Draiman to collaborate on a song for the Underworld: Awakening soundtrack in late 2011. As soon as the singer heard the music, he was both intrigued and inspired. The duo then cut "Hunted" in Chicago. Even though the track didn't ultimately make the final soundtrack album due to circumstances beyond their control, Draiman urged that they hold on to it and continue writing music. Soon, they had an entire album's worth of material.
Upon finishing the record, Draiman enlisted Evanescence drummer Will Hunt and Dope and Rock of Ages guitarist Virus. Both Hunt and Virus jumped at the chance to be a part of this powerhouse trio. The three comprise the touring incarnation of Device.

Disturbed is my favorite band of all time and this fucking crowd pissed me off David Draiman deserves respect he promotes world peace on a daily basis and through Disturbed is a God of metal. Disturbed is one of the only bands that actually promotes true universal world peace and has saved literally thousands of lives with their music. Been a fan since the sickness and this crowd utterly pissed me off!

Yeah, about halfway through the set he asked us if someone was passing around Xanex or weed. I can never imagine myself getting real crazy at a show, 'cause I'm the introverted type. But it was pretty mild even during Megadeth. I just want to sit back, relax, and hear the music, man. I was getting a little crazy during Megadeth's set though.

The crowd and backing vocals have been edited out, this is Warner where they chop out the crowd and backing vocals, trust me, the crowd was not quiet during the actual performance. Go watch any Detroit live performance... although, this isn't the best live version of this song I've seen either
It's the audio on this video. Warner trying to make it sound 'clean', chopped out all the parts that make a live recording special.

This would have benefited from having a bass guitar. It's also not really 'industrial' it sounds just like a less metal Disturbed.
I totally agree. I'm a bassist myself & there's no low end & it sounds so industrial. I seen device in Toronto on the gigantour & he called a fan out because he was talking to his friend,he's such an idiot.
Sudsy Sutherland Draiman has been doing his calling out 'disrespectful' fans bit for years. I remember him stopping mid song to tell some guy to 'stand the fuck up and respect his band' years back on Ozzfest.
