Sad to see Scrappy Quilter close but happy for Jo who is retiring. When we first moved to Cibolo 5 yrs. ago, I was so happy to find a quilt store that close.
Sorry to hear about your local shop - mine is closing also. So many people ordering online these days. I stocked up on bobbins for my Janome machines and alot of little scraps of fabrics for making JuJu zipper bags.
Seweety Grace, for your longarm , I know you will have many happy hours quilting with it. I don’t know what I would do without mine, I have a Janome and it is marvelous. There are so many wonderful machines out there now, we are so fortunate to live in this tech world, makes my life so rewarding. Have a great week. Green Bananas.
As for the name of the new longarm, I was thinking of “Betsy,” as inspired by Betsy Ross, the seamstress/creator of the First American flag which she had to piece together and in honor of your military service to our country.
Love that they are doing the NATIONAL BREAST CANCER FUND RAISER and quilt hopefully next year they can design a quilt and do a fund raiser for Childhood Cancer Awareness that runs in September.
New name for longarm “Amazing Amy”! Wish I had one! Bet the clinic would love it. We put up things in our exam room for patients to look. It helps them focus on something else and be more comfortable. Oh my… I love the owl table topper. I saw the wool pads demonstrated on a YT class but didn’t get. So… guess I really need it. So sad your quilt store is closing. Thanks for another great video.
I bought a long arm 8 years ago and only used it once because they didn, the offer lessons around where I live. So it just sits their and I send my quilts out to some one else. So sad for me. I would call your new quilting machine Anastasia! Because a beautiful name for a beautiful machine and the designs that you can do with it .
I never had any lessons on my first longarm either and I let it sit as well for about 2 years. Back then, there weren't the videos for anything on UA-cam either. After I too was sending quilts out, my thriftiness got the best of me and I decided that I had just had enough, and I forced myself to search out how-to videos of all longarm brands. I put a whole cloth quilt on there and just started. I first practiced making a straight line across the fabric (a basic skill for top placement) and then practiced basting down the sides. Then I started to figure out the automation software bit by bit. It took me several years to get it down, but I figured "Hey, I'm going to spend the time doing something anyway so I might as well spend it doing something constructive." Please take another look at your sweet machine and spend some time to get to know each other!
Look forward to the video on the Luminaire/SNC transfer! LOVE the cat fabrics. How sad your local quilt shop is closing. I feel your paint ! Happy to hear you have another option for fabric not too far away. Gotta have our fabric fixes!
I love my Gammill longarm! So many wonderful longarm options out there now, which is awesome! I named mine “Stella the Stellar Statler Stitcher”! She and I have been quilting for 10 years! 🥰
So sorry to hear about your quilt store closing! That is so heartbreaking!! Wow! You've been so busy! Love your videos in showing us what you are ding and then you have a video in the works to show us how to do it! And you then show us that beautiful fabric! You are the best!
Your new longarm is gorgeous!! I know you will enjoy playing with it. So sorry to hear about your local quilt shop... So sad when one of our cherished shops close. I love the kitty fabric.. Show us what you make. I've been wanting to get some book marks from Juju... So I look forward to your video.
I love how that baby quilt tuned out! When I look at the pattern, I wouldn’t have picked it, but I love your version a lot. Wow! And I am loving your support quilt so much.
‘It’s Sew Gracie’ - (Miss ISG) machine name! Love your videos. I have a Q’nique 21 w/computer stitching I like it. Does the new one have a vertical & horizontal lock on the front screen so you don’t have to go to the back??? on & off switch on screen not at back? I just figure it’s good exercise! lol
Hi Becky, Just wanted to say how much I continue to enjoy your channel. Sorry to hear that you will no longer be putting your giveaways on your UA-cam channel due to scammers. But I totally understand. So, so sorry to hear your local quilt shop is closing, how sad, but we have seen this happening over the past two years more often than not. Thank God for the online shopping and stores like JoAnn Fabric. I know still not like going into a quilt shop.... Was glad to hear you have connected with another quilt shop already and will possibly be doing some embroidery classes there. Hang in there and keep sewing and having fun!!! Be blessed ...Alberta from Southern MD...😊😊
I am so sorry to hear about your quilt shop closing! I remember when my favorite quit shop closed with was like going to a funeral. We all cried! So many fond memories! But since then I have found my new favorite quilt shop! She there is always a bright light at the end of the tunnel! Hang in there!
Hi Becky. I just love watching your chats and tutorials. You are a wealth of knowledge. I’ve been thinking of buying the DIME stitch ripper. Would you be able to demonstrate it in one of your videos. So sad your Quilt shop is closing.
Great visit today. I ordered the wool pads set too, but not here yet. They look to be an awesome addition. I'll probably use them more to iron down applique pieces. That set also fits several other machines, including Pfaff, which is my brand. Sorry to hear Scrappy Quilter is closing. I'm in Helotes and just always seemed way too far, when I have several fairly close on this side of SATX. Glad to hear your opinion on the thread trimmer. I was looking at it and her video, when I ordered the pads. You are really looking good, so thin, from your Wt. Watchers eating plan. Congrats. I imagine Keith is also, too. Love the cat fabrics and panel.
Gloria is a good name for a glorious machine, don’t you think? lol I am so sorry to hear about your local shop. You take care of yourself and don’t over do. We love you. I’ve been looking for planner, I get so overwhelmed with UFO’s,maybe I can win it. 🤞🤞
I don't have a quilt shop near me, so depend on online purchasing. I have that book panel and would love to make that quilt. What fabric line are those 3 fabrics from? I would love to be a copy cat.
I remember hello fall hanging on your back wall in another video. I went back to see if a video was taped and if more info on it was mentioned unfortunately I couldn’t find any. Wondering what fabric backgrounds you used and also the finished block sizes. New to 10 needle machine and believe the designs would be fun. I see the designs are from oesd, correct? Thank you for sharing. Goodness, found the information in your panels video. Thank you!
I really like that Hello Fall collection from OESD. I think I’m going to bite on it come payday. ‘Not sure about the thread collection that matches it-kinda expensive.
Love all your information Becky. Interestingly, it was a male co-worker friend who turned me onto quilting and your channel as well as others like yours. I always feel bad for him when I hear “girls” or “ladies” references to the audience. Maybe just me being overly sensitive for him. Everyone does it. Anyway, thanks for all your posts! I love seeing your new videos in my notifications. 💜
Thank you for all the information you send our way. I have the 15”pro from Grace company and I added the extra program for a large Mac 🖥. I have followed Urban Elements but didn’t know which program my machine uses. Like my Solaris uses the PES, not sure what the Grace company uses. Did I make any sense there. Could you tell me what you’re using. Thank you so much
The Parisville line is a reprint/recolouration of Tula's Marie Antoinette line from a few years ago. She re-released these 8 this year and she's planning on releasing other lines in new colours in the future (Well, her and FreeSpirit). Every time I heard you say tossed cats I had to laugh, my Dad use to threaten to give my 4 cats flying lessons... Great Haul, sorry about your LQS.
Not necessarily. If you enable My Connection on the Luminaire and the SNC 325, then you don't need software to send applique parts to the SNC. It's very cool! Here's how to set up My Connection. ua-cam.com/video/3Xf5FLKNvZA/v-deo.html
So sad when quilt shops close. We had two of our three to close last year. Here lately, (not complaining!) but you have had an echo or something in your videos, and some static. Others I watch do not so I don't think it's my computer. Did you change equipment? Can't wait to see the Support quilt. Happy sewing!
Tula Pink designs are to modern or bold for me and don't use brown what about Autumn (Thanksgiving) I am more of a vintage and tradition type quilter. I really like your new long arm quilter. Beautiful.
Thank you for the chat demonstration. I like it a lot from Vanessa.
Glad you like it!

Oh Becky ........ love it
I have been a long-time fan of Tula. Her fabric are so fun to work with. She is a treasure, too.
Amy Baughman's shop is in Harmony ,PA just north of Pittsburgh. Wish i could go on the cruise to take ur classes.
As for the name of the new longarm, I was thinking of “Betsy,” as inspired by Betsy Ross, the seamstress/creator of the First American flag which she had to piece together and in honor of your military service to our country.

That baby quilt is amazing, one of the nicest patterns I’ve ever seen. Nice work!!!

Look forward to the video on the Luminaire/SNC transfer! LOVE the cat fabrics. How sad your local quilt shop is closing. I feel your paint ! Happy to hear you have another option for fabric not too far away. Gotta have our fabric fixes!
I love the bloc llc rulers now I have to look for the flying geese ones
I love my Gammill longarm! So many wonderful longarm options out there now, which is awesome! I named mine “Stella the Stellar Statler Stitcher”! She and I have been quilting for 10 years! 🥰
Your Sweet Elite is Awesome!!! I'd call her Elaine.

You certainly deserve that machine. For all you do for us, showing all of the beautiful creations you make. Grace company knows you are great.
Aren't you sweet? Thank you!

Yes absolutely. The next time I have a booboo I'll be sure to video how I fix it using the DIME Stitch Ripper. Thanks!
I have my cruise reservation!! EXCITED
Yay!! How fun!
I
Like most of Tula’s fabrics. Love colors. I also love most of Kaffe’s fabrics.
I am so jealous. I do wish I had room for a long arm.

I think I would go with Gracy or Elli! Fitting the Name she already has. :D
Another great visit. Thank you. Have a great week.
Love my APQS. have had it for 7 years w/o a problem.. so happy for you
I bought some loc-bloc rulers. Purchased years ago at a quilt show. May have been in Houston.
Gloria is a good name for a glorious machine, don’t you think? lol I am so sorry to hear about your local shop. You take care of yourself and don’t over do. We love you. I’ve been looking for planner, I get so overwhelmed with UFO’s,maybe I can win it. 🤞🤞
I am so sorry to hear about Scrappy Quilter. I will have to go visit there soon.
Catching up
You got the luck my friend you deserve it
She is Beautiful 😍 ❤. You should call her Beauty and Bea for short. She'll be a busy little "Bea".
First name that came to mind for your long arm was El or Ellie. I just bought a long arm. Can’t wait to get started on it.
I don't have a quilt shop near me, so depend on online purchasing. I have that book panel and would love to make that quilt. What fabric line are those 3 fabrics from? I would love to be a copy cat.
That is Sunrise Safari and it's soooo cute! shrsl.com/3oy3n
Oh no that’s one of my quilt shops!!
HOW NICE! So happy for you. That machine and table look awesome.
The name for your longarm is Bessie. Your quilt turned out great!
I'm making the safari sunrise quilt and wondered what you did in the center square. Difficult to see in the video.
I used the black on white print of the zebras & other animals for the center square and then then colored little suns made the triangles on each side.
Gloria. You forgot to tell us the price? Even a rough price
I always enjoy your videos. They keep me motivated. Thanks for all you do

I love your shirt. I’ve got to find one for myself.

How about "Darlin?" for your lovely longarm!!!
Super cute!!
I absolutely love my bloc loc rulers!! Sad that yet another brick and mortar quilt store is closing.
Great information. Your work is so beautiful.
Thank you for all the information you send our way. I have the 15”pro from Grace company and I added the extra program for a large Mac 🖥. I use .qli files for the Grace machines. Those should work for you too.😊
Amy Baughman is from near Pittsburgh!!!!
Another great show
Your new long arm looks like Mary Lou to me!
The 21pro is so similar. Why did you upgrade? I'm thinking of upgrading from a 21R to the elite.
I named my qnique 19 Bogie after my favorite old movie actor which hunk do you favor would it be a good name
Didn’t see info on the magnification attachment for the longarm machine in the transcript. Ty
Fixed! Thank you. 😊 www.graceframe.com/en/product/magnifique-magnifying-glass
Hi Becky 😊 wow what a beautiful machine! Enjoy it. What about Gabby
The Parisville line is a reprint/recolouration of Tula's Marie Antoinette line from a few years ago. ROFL. Too funny 😁 😂 😀 🤣 😁
IF WE THE SCAN N CUT 325 WE DON'T NEED TO HAVE A COMPUTER TO SEND TO THE BROTHER LUMINAIRE?😊😊😊😊
Not necessarily. If you enable My Connection on the Luminaire and the SNC 325, then you don't need software to send applique parts to the SNC. It's very cool! Here's how to set up My Connection. ua-cam.com/video/3Xf5FLKNvZA/v-deo.html
This is the one I want.
How hard is it to learn the long arm
Not hard at all. The trick is to not get overwhelmed with everything it can do. Just make it do what you need.
When will your new t-shirt designs be in your store?
My t-shirt lady is ready to begin printing. She had to wait for the shirts to come in from the mfg. Soon I hope!
Love the Planner. Probably not available in Australia. You are looking so well! How have you lost all your weight?
Yes! I'm at goal down 30 lbs. Thank you!
How about naming your Grace 21, "Princess" (after Grace Kelly who became the Princess of Monaco).
DO THOSE GRAY MATS WITH THE RUBBER ON THE BACK ALSO COME FOR YOUR BROTHER LUMINAIRE?😊😊😊😊
Yes, they have mats to fit hoops of many different machine brands.
I should ask you how big of a machine can you put on a cutie frame. You got a lot of nice stuff.
I'd call Grace to ask about that. Thank you!
A new name could be Rosey Run Along. So enjoy your videos!!!
That breast cancer quilt is going to be SPLENDIFEROUS🥰❤️😊
Your new long arm has all the bells and whistle’s, so how about Bella?
So sad when quilt shops close. We had two of our three to close last year. Here lately, (not complaining!) but you have had an echo or something in your videos, and some static. Others I watch do not so I don't think it's my computer. Did you change equipment? Can't wait to see the Support quilt. Happy sewing!
I have noticed some crackling also.
Well, I thought it was the laptop, but I swapped those out and the problem remained. So it might be the camera.
She is beautiful. I think Gracie. Maybe one day I'll play on mine.🙂
Longarm name: Serenity….. because that’s the feeling I got from you when you talked about her.
Tula Pink designs are to modern or bold for me and don't use brown what about Autumn (Thanksgiving) I am more of a vintage and tradition type quilter. I really like your new long arm quilter. Beautiful.
XE = Xena Princess of Power. 😃
I know some of your other machines are named from the Little Rascals. What about Froggy or Rascal?
you say sweet when you talk about her, call her sweetie pie!!
Try naming your new Grace21.... DULCIE. It's from Latin dulcis, meaning sweet! You have referred to your new machine many times as sweet!
Tell me about your Sloan shirt. Very interested. TIA
kdspain.com/sloanzone
Grace good name
How about naming her Amazing Grace?
I like the name Ethel
I think the long arm should be called ‘her lady ship’
Name your Longarm Sophia. after Sophie Loren. She was so Graceful
I think you should name her, Queen B.
Name for the new Elite: Elise!
How about Mona from Mona Lisa since she is so beautiful.
Ellie
Try naming your new machine "Ellie" taken from "Elite"
sohpie
Becky Lee for the long arm, please check email .
No email received.
I sent the email again.
I like Bella or Bella Beauty
Aren't you fortunate.
Name her Ellie
Close to what I would say.... I would go with Ella - after my grandmother who quilted with her whole family in the evening including the boys.
