think this was an early experiment by the BBC in diversity. We have Bernadette, a man with a suspicious mustache, a six foot schoolboy and Frank Bough. Seriously though, Bernadette was rather lovely. Oh yes.
The set changed to the 'Roman' style studio set for the following series & for the first edition of the series Les Dawson came out wearing a toga to the laughter of the studio audience.
Les was amazing. An absolute class act.

They were the presenters of The Holiday Programme on BBC1.
I was 14 when this aired and I recognised 2 of the panel (Frank Bough and Kathy Taylor). No idea who the rest were.
I am now 69 and apart from Les I have no idea who the panel were.
Frank Bough was a household name but I don’t recognise any of the others.
