Using the template was a pita, I just traced the inner frame, way more precise. Add a bead of black rtv on top of the existing gasket for extra protection and good to go. These things are a total bargain especially the 'used' option on amazon.
What kind of tape did you use to seal the outside edges of the window? You mentioned it was some kind of black sealing tape? Great video and I'm definitely going to do just what you did with my Jayco 15BH Baja--it will be great having another window to let some more light in and see outside the camper, and you clearly showed how easy it is to install.
@@MSMAdventures Thank you. It looks like it is well built. I am looking for one to haul my side x side in and also use as camper. Looking for aluminum as I have Tacoma I intend to use as tow vehicle. So want to keep weight to a minimum. I appreciate your reply. Look forward to seeing your build.
Great job I will be doing the same thing to my trailer but I was wondering what brand window, part number and distributor you used? I like the idea of not having to manufacture a filler if the frame is to deep.
You said, “the only thing it does not have is a SCREEN”? I don’t think it matters because……It doesn’t open. Correct? If it does open…I’d buy it for < $100.

It's is butyl tape. It's like a putty. Thanks for watching! Good luck with your project :)
This is really nice. What brand of trailer did you go with?
Thank you! Legend is the Manufacturer of the trailer.

Thank you!
Nice job! How thick was your door? Just bought an enclosed trailer with RV type door but was asking before cutting à hole!
Thank you! Hmm I'm having a hard remembering for certain but I'm thinking about 1-1/2 inches
you skipped the inner panel install?
How thick is the door?
What blade did you use on your jigsaw?
A new metal specific blade should do it.

Correct, it does not open
