this is done by using an stl or 3mf file aka 3d printed files. that is where the software can draw out the depth information. co2 lasers can do depth by greyscale but its not as dynamic as using a proper depth map.
How do you get a regular photograph to an stl in order to engrave. I don't want to engrave someone else's photo. Can you direct me to a video or class? Thank you in advance!
@@DeniseTeague-m8r I have not unfortunately, but I haven't had a lot of time lately to do more research. I did not get a response here. This is my frustration with lasering. There are no manuals and on line teaching is sporadic at best! Just gotta keep looking! :)
Love this. Looking to really try this here soon. Please keep the background music down. It distracts, plus I'm hard of hearing when it comes to competing sounds.

Same ask asked before. what wattage is your laser? what min/max power are you running? what speed? great video also...just missing some key information that many of us need.
@@ImagR-Laser oh I'm a newbie sorry. So when I take this file to lightburn I select pass through right? So it doesn't do one of the effects like stucki, etc?
Hi - any chance of a video on how to create these 3d images or possibly a resource? Thanks - enjoying the vids.
Great videos ! Appreciate all the work you do and keep them videos coming ! Than You !

Fantastic! I'll be trying this in the morning 😊

I was wondering the same, did you ever find out?

Olá amigo eu tenho um lase diodo Zbaitu M81-80W esse processo posso usar nesse modelo de maquinas?
Hi , if it the same process on a diode laser? Since you chose co2? Thanks

Will you be doing programmes using diode lasers or will it just be CO2?
Will be diode as well in future
What power % and speed did you use? And on what watt laser??
Love the software by the way!!!!!!!
Thank you :)
I used 0.5% min power, 30% max power, on 80W :)
Thank You. Very good Job. Do you maybe have a link where you can get such beautiful 3D stl files? Thank you, regards Andre

Hi, looks amazing. Could you 3D ingrave a photo to aluminum? I'd love to print coins for my grandchildren. Photo on front, name & DOB on back?
Same ask asked before.

I think it is more like testing. Depends on so much. But I used 0.5% min, and 30% max power, on 80W - 300mm/s speed
Can you engrave these 3d images with a 10 watt diode laser?
GREAT VIDEO. AWESOME WORK
Can this be done with a 40W diode laser?
Great video ! Thanks
is it use a ruida controller or ruida app?
Great video!
Do you use greyscale or one of the other types like stucki?
Obviously only imagr :D

Can this be done on a mirror?
Yes :)
what is the speed and power setting
Parabéns!
website is broken
Thanku
How can I do this on metal and what machine is best for metal .
