Awesome creek that keeps on giving, great finds pal! Nuggetnoggin, on 3:09 the blackish strip on the bank next to the top. It looks to me that is the exact settlement of the Natives, it is their fire pit I am pretty confident. You might want to dig a little at a time back into it in sections. Usually it holds pottery, arrowheads, beads etc. Well worth checking if you do please film it. God Bless you and Daisy! (Glen). WV.
Great finds eagle eyes. @@ Congrats on the Indian artifacts Michael. I love the looks of those old embossed medicine type bottles. Reminds me of the old west. 👍
Excellent finds. I'm so glad you got to go through that area before they scrape it away even further. Keep up the awesome work Nugget Noggin and Daisy.
That is beautiful spotting of the arrowhead, Nug - i would never have seen that. The red arrowhead on brown coat, is the symbol for the First Special Service Force, a US Canadian regiment, working in Italy, among other places in WWII
Whenever I find a point like the one at the 4:25 mark, I always wonder what the person that last held it looked like. And what century did they drop it in? And I always am amazed at the skill it took to knap and shape that tiny little artifact. When you find artifacts, arrowheads, spearpoints and knives, they are often of very good quality. But heavier items like stone axes are often more crude or utilitarian - depending upon whether it was dropped near a tribal settlement. And finding pottery is always an indication that a settlement must have been nearby. Ancient men on foot were not inclined to carry heavier objects like stone axes any great distance - due to the weight. Also, while away on a hunt or long trek, they would quickly create less sophisticated axes just to use in the field - and to either cache or discard. Really nice axes and larger artifacts that took a lot of time to make likely indicate habitation was close by, as they were likely used over a long period. And one can imagine that losing a well-made knife must have been highly upsetting to its owner!
Creek Indians in my area but I have only found just a few artifacts near the Altamaha River. We’re in the Coastal Plain. I’m “ green with envy “ but very happy for you and Daisy. I’ve met many a farmer who had unearthed thousands of arrowheads and artifacts. In fact, a friend of mine’s father, had found enough to incorporate into his whole hearth and fireplace, ( to his 18’ ceiling ) still had enough left over to do the transoms ( front and back ) over his hallway door leading to the bedrooms and baths. 🤯 Great outcome to a great day in saving these precious artifacts! Thanks Michael and Daisy! ☺️
Great finds Nugget! Wow!! Love that Harmonica Reed! Could you do a video in the future showing and explaining the different kinds of Arrowheads? (If you have the time). God bless!
Thank you! I may start listing more of these creek finds on my website, the collection is getting out of control lol. For the ID of arrowheads, it varies based on state , some states call the same point design different than another. I will try to do a reference video soon. Thank you!
Let me check them lol . Thanks for watching! Shes in there one scene . It was mostly a solo adventure, except for the next day she joined for short time.
I was rooting for you to get into a great patch of bottles... maybe next time. The artifacts are cool... when you said about moving rocks, it reminded me of rocks cousteau channel...he finds some amazing artifacts. Cheers !
I’m from SW Arkansas. I’ve been watching your videos for a while. I have a pretty good collection of Indian artifacts. I have a boatstone I found several years ago. Thanks
The larger palm stones that you found later are skinners, and cutters, are made out of sandstone. I'll look up the striated arrowhead. It is called banded flint, or chert, and is found across America, at least to the east side of the Rocky Mountains. Thanks for finding these well-crafted stone tools, arrowheads
I like all of your videos. I started watching when had more metal detecting vids. I would be interested ,and probably a lot of people would be interested in seeing some of your collection. Just a thought for another video.
For arrowheads I don't have a lot to show actually, considering most of my creek finds are recent. I remember 10 years ago I would walk creeks and never find arrowheads, but now I figured out the strategy and it's been a crazy year! Thanks for watching!
I am 65 and I still have never found an arrowhead. I've found chips and "maybe" broken ones but never a recognizable arrowhead. Still on the bucket list. lol
I'd swear slightly up and to the right from the first arrow head in this video was another one. And when you picked up the harmonica read you stepped over 2 different marbles. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing your adventures with us.
Could of been an arrowhead. The harmonica reed spot was a rock thats round, i seen that when i was there. Still possible to miss stuff though. Thanks for watching!
@nuggetnoggin no problem thanks for sharing. Thought if you went back on your footage in those 2 spots and those spots are still available and or worth your time . Bla bla
Watching from 🇨🇦 Canada! You know it’s a shame there is so much modern garbage ( batteries, appliances, etc.) in these creeks you explore. You should try getting your local followers to participate in a Nugget Noggin creek clean up day for areas like that. People who metal detect usually love just being outdoors so might be more motivated to help keep nature areas clean of modern garbage that detracts from the beauty of these creeks and that pollutes the water for natural wildlife. And if they find a treasure while cleaning up well that adds to the motivation to help out. Sort of like the canal cleanings that volunteers help out with in England. Love your videos!
Thank you! Yes i have done sifting and never had any luck, it's so strange. You can find an arrowhead on top then sift out buckets full and get nothing else. I think it's because the points wash in after floods, so it's why I find them on top . The buried ones become harder to get but they are there certainly
a couple of months ago I found a 1840-1860 civil war federal buckle and it's was made in Maine, Texas Louisiana and Mississippi. these were found on civil war sites.
Thanks! Great content
Wow thanks for the donation! That means a lot . I’ll keep the videos coming

Your videos are so soothing after an epically bad week. Thanks a bunch, Nugget! Your pals in Seattle 👩❤️👨 ❤
Nugget.
You must be living your life right. You are an arrowhead finding machine
Nice finds
That goal shouldn’t be the first on his list. He should really work on finding a wife so he isn’t a 40 yr old virgin.

The second point is a true arrowhead used with a bow. And an incredible find at that. Nice hunt Nugget! Jeff
Thank you! Yeah it's definitely super rare to find one in that condition normally. I appreciate you watching
Really appreciate your educational, relaxing and fun videos .
Thank you so much! I try to share a few tips along the way

top middle of the screen at 13:31 there is an perfect arrowhead shape covered in sand/small pebbles. I was shouting “Right there Nug!” lol
Awesome video .

@nuggetnoggin thank you buddy!!!
Hi Michael ❤I think some of those larger worked stones were used to work and skin hides❤❤
Thanks for taking us along on your treasure hunt! Lots of great finds ❤
Thanks for watching!
From Big Rock IL. That’s some great finds.
Thanks for watching!
Always good to see you 🙏❤️👋
Thank you kindly

hi it looks like there was a huge shooter marble 6in.
to the right of the harmonica reed at 7:28

nice arrowheads
😮wow, good eye. I only spot a couple before you point them out.
Thanks! It definitely takes a trained eye
Hi Daisy
Always following your videos, glad i did.
Awesome! Thank you!
@nuggetnoggin your welcome, your videos are really 😎
The first large worked rock you found in the mud tracks looks like it could have been a hatchet head.
You Got Brand new territory to explore re shooting all your creek videos
The flooding definitely helps and it all looks different . Thanks for watching!
Watching in Barnwell, South Carolina.
Thank you!
England ❤
I am 65 and I still have never found an arrowhead. I've found chips and "maybe" broken ones but never a recognizable arrowhead. Still on the bucket list. lol
Hope you find one soon! Happy Hunting!
Perhaps those preforms were used for scraping hides???
Could the big worked rocks be used for scrapers also? Just wondering.
Yes it could have been a scraper
I'd swear slightly up and to the right from the first arrow head in this video was another one.
And when you picked up the harmonica read you stepped over 2 different marbles.

Funbeleiveable.
Thanks for watching! 💯
When can you snorkel duck dive and do bandstand underwater as you find something?
I think some of those thick worked pieces might be scrapers
Michael you have an trained eye is that a gold creek to
a couple of months ago I found a 1840-1860 civil war federal buckle and it's was made in Maine, Texas Louisiana and Mississippi. these were found on civil war sites.
Amazing find!
I bet those big ones were used to make the arrowheads that you have found. Ancient form of hammer
5:13 Possibly a meat scraper to scrape meat off hides.
That’s awesome then! Thanks
The palm rocks are for scrapping hides to make leather
That's amazing!
From Hudson New York
Some of those could be scrapers or something you could use to easily skin a deer
Thanks for the thoughts on the finds! I bet they were scrapers. More videos on the way!
Marshall TX
Have you ever dug and siffed areas like that or is it illegal then you answered my question while I was making this comment.
You have sharp eyes
Scrapers?

A marble. Marble marble
Those stones could have been used for scrapping Buffalo hide
