- PEONY FLOWER NON WIRED WITH BUDS AND LEAF
Can also be done in gumpaste, clay, or cold porcelain
Materials Used
Gumpaste (Recipe Below)
• Video
Edible Glue (2 tbsp warm water and 1/4 tsp tylose powder)
Ball tool
Foam Pad
Sponge
Rolling pin
Cutter (Rose Petal Cutter/ Tear Drop)
Gel Colors (I used Peotraco)
Cornstarch
Shortening for kneading (I use Puratos or Crisco)
Styro Ball 1.5 inches and 1 inches (you can use gumpaste for this also)
BBQ stick/ BBQ skewer
Floral tape green
Optional (leaves) Wire number 24

Hi for the thickness my advise is to make it thick enough so your wire can pass through then thin the edges only hehehe

How long po bago tumigas ung gumpaste flower before putting on the cake?
It depends on the humidity on your area if, usually this gumpaste dries really fast 10 mins

hi thank you for your comment, to lessen the amount on the brush, rest assured hands are super clean before making flowers, another technique is to have a small plate where you can dab the paintbrush to lessen the tylose or edible glue on the tip, too much edible glue or tylose glue will make petals slide off =)
