- Can a Normal Person Survive Android in 2024 America? My experience switching from iPhone to Android after a month.
Supreme Value is my new brand where I use a “worth it” rating system / formula to determine the worth of a consumer product numerically. I then raffle that product out to raise money for non profit organizations that support homeless people in my community.
If you would like to support me, work with me or sponsor me, please let me know! If you would like me to score/review whether your consumer product is worth it or not, send it over! You can contact me through:

still dont understand why americans like imessage so much
majority of the world outside US uses whatsapp even on iphones. whatsapp has group chats, desktop sync.
And with this apple walls, apple becomes a dictator like they did removing home button, audio jack, charger, no wonder there wont be ports in a next few generations, because once you are in the ecosystem, its very hard to get out.
on the other hand, in Android if someone wants a phone with a big battery, he can, someone wants audio jack, someone wants folding phones, also imagine if you phone breaks and you are broke, how will you shell out 400$ for a second hand iphone when 400$ will get you great mid range phones.
I'm honestly not surprised because humans, when they are presented with two tech choices will always opt for the bad one. Examples are Windows, Iphone, Mac.
@@MrFrog222Windows is good imo
@@MrFrog222 you're bad
I'm not American but I think it's market demand + user experience. You don't need to install other apps than built-in Messages. And yes, features of other apps like WA, Telegram (which much better and more modern than in iMessages) less important than habits of your private circle/community.
Instead of focusing on the actual experience of using the android you spent almost 10 mins complaining about iMessage which was a deliberate design choice by Apple to make their messaging experience worse on non iPhones. Lame lol.
fr😂😂
TBH I agree, I think something I didn't point out is that the things I complained about are by Apple's design, they definitely obviously make it hard for devices outside the apple ecosystem to come on or have the same benefits. From my perspective unfortunately that was my reality though, Im surrounded by tons of iPhone users as are a lot of people in the US
turning the audio off and just seeing you doing those facial expressions is so funny😭
All your problems would be gone if you all use WhatsApp. Literally, ALL OF THEM.
In Brasil we all use it, even the iPhone users, and it's great. There's even an option to send people money for free.
But I guess you guys are just behind.
Sweet content bro, congrats.
Yea that would help fo sho!
YOU CAN SEND MONEY THROUGH WHATSAPP ? I dont have that feature here in Indonesia!
This is an interesting, normie, take on the switch. A lot of videos I see are from tech nerds, so they know what they want. I'm a power-user too, so I know what I want. This is kind of refreshing (and annoying) to see!
Thanks!
First of all, Google Pixel's Android is likely the furthest one apart from an iPhone (it has the greatest differences from an iPhone), compared to Samsung, OnePlus or Xiaomi, whose are all functionally and aesthetically little more similar to iOS. So if you are switching from an iPhone, it's gonna be the hardest to go for a Pixel.
The only downside you mentioned throughout the whole video is iMessage (and a little of the Apple ecosystem of sharing files from phone to a Mac). At the end of the video you said there are a lot of things you liked about Android you didn't mention. WHAT are those things? You literally only blabed about how hard it is to send group messages on iMessage.
I imagine that iMessage is what Americans only care about then, since it's the only thing you talk about?
Just to let you know, RCS is open and used across all Android devices already for quite a few years. Apple has been delaying it on purpose cause it would make the messaging experience with an Android user much better.
sorry if this is out of place but i went through your skinny fat transformation vids and i want to thank you for sharing all you learned and your journey yo i hope things are well for you fella
Change the title to " Can a Normal Person Survive Android in USA"
So looking at the engineering perspective, most of these issues is on the apple side for not liking things outside its ecosystem (look at apple's lawsuit for intentionally lowering quality of images sent from android users). And this is coming from someone who has used an IPhone and several other apple products for over a decade. I work as an engineer, as we are suppose to design for compatibility, even with competitors products, to make it more seamless to use products (who is gonna buy it if you cant use it). For apple, it's caused a sudo-monopoly that is finally starting to crack. I for one cannot wait to leave the apple ecosystem.
holy yapping of yappingtons i cant belive he yapped so much bout android
"Normal person"? What the fuck
Normal person? A normal person wouldn't care what phone it is or make such a big deal about it...
You can tell who uses an android in the comments😂😂😂 (all the ones complaining that you didn’t like it)
so when r u switching back … asking for a friend
All that makeup still can't save your face.
I use iPhone because the feel, the ui, the animations, the durability, and they last. I use an iphone 7 from 8 years ago, and it runs perfectly.
besides all that criticism in the comments, the video is fine, but yeah imessage yapping was a little too much because mainly people on android have a messaging app and this app should and was designed to work perfectly both on ios and apk, but i see why yall like imessage so much in usa, no need to have multiple messaging apps like viber, telegram, snapchat w/e, wish we also had that. Regarding quick share, yeah its a pain. i actually typed way longer message but got bored so cut it in half just like that
This video seems like it should be called "Can a person who has only used iphone in the last 10 years understand that Android is made by a different company and works differently" Answer... apparently not.
only reason i have an iphone is because my friend max has a damn cabinet full of them
Alot of things you said weren't on android or worse on android could be improved.
You are using pixel so you can find a rom like pixel extended to improve it.
yip yap appple fanboy
here is the deal: how about just use a 3rd party messenger like the one FB offers? that way you can open it in browser on any PC, mac or phone. heck, it might even be possible to use it with smart TVs and gaming consoles. basically, you are overspending by a tone(like $500-$1000 per device) to get basic messaging app functionality because apple decided to make it exclusive and your friends refuse to switch to an open one. i mean that was the majority of your complaints as far as i can tell. also, the 1980s tech aka SMS is a technology that works when there is the least signal avalible. back in the good old days when phones only did calls and messages, SMS would work even when calls weren't possible.
I'm surprised facebook messenger isn't used instead in the states...
The title is so aggressive wtf
Bruh iPhone is incredibly overrated
aint no way my guy said iphone has more apps than android
Apple is finally getting rcs chat so they'll be able to message Androids a lot easier
there is RCS wich is similar to imessage but the catch is that apple refuses to use it, know why? App lock so that people have to get an iphone to use imessage wich most of the US uses....talk about sketchy
Funny enough Apple just added RCS with the newest iOS
@@anthonychrisbradley Well lets See how this Turns Out i bet ita so Limited IT doesnt even compare
