Could very well be and i love that. Thanks Pamela.
It is amazing that those guns were not cut up for scrape, glade they are still there for us to see.
Totally so and thanks William :)
Wirklich wahnsinnig schön zu sehen. Mein Dank 👍🏻
Thank you for that :)
Each new video in this series keeps getting better. Can't wait to see what's next.
Thank you for that my friend and more to come :)
When drawings and guns are left behind like this it truly brings home the human side of these spectacular locations. Truly amazing place. Glad to see EE's arm is coming good. You can get back into model building again too. :)
yes such a great place and EE is fully healed up now. Thanks Paul :)
Really enjoy my Sunday afternoon history lesson from HH and EE, look forward to everyone. This location just keeps going. I can't wait for part 4. Thank you for being such a good friend.
Great to hear Allen and yes this place is totally amazing to look into. Thank YOU for being here and greetings from us my friend :)
guns still in place...wow. so much to see there , I'd bet EE was totally all over that. Great video my friend.
Yes what a great place and thanks again Dave for being here :)
Wow 😲
That was spectacular!
Awesome to see that relatively fully intact Schneider gun up close.
It's in good condition too.
Very impressive.
I look forward to episode 4.
Greetings to you and Eagle Eyes 😁
So glad you enjoyed it and we love this place here Casey. Thanks and greetings from us :)
I commented on the last that I was looking forward to this next segment and I haven't been disappointed. Fantastic to see that old gun in that good shape.
How great to read and thanks Alfred for your great support my friend :)
Just amazing can't believe that is still there can't wait to see the next video.
You and me both!
I'm yet again astounded that they left those guns almost fully complete there! I really hope they can be rescued by an historic organization and displayed in a museum before they deteriorate much more.
And I'm also now going to forever wonder what was down that shaft lol. I do appreciate that you are looking after EE's feelings, which is what makes you such a fantastic dad though. I really hope you will be able to go back there when EE is fully recovered; I'll bet it's going to be one of the more interesting installations around there hehe.
All the best to you, and to Eagle Eyes 🙂
Actually you have seen where the shaft goes , you saw that in the video of the command bunker. We just never climbed up there remember ? Thanks Dennis and more to come :)
@@WW2HistoryHunter Ah, OK, got it lol. 🙂
I just started watching but i know its going to be a good video 😊
Hope you like it!
Cool site, thanks for the close up video of the gun. Terrific that it's still there! Thanks to you and EE for all your efforts and for sharing.
More guns coming up and thanks my friend for your great support and be safe out there.
Amazing place, with guns still in place and the drawing on the wall. thanks you .
Agree and thank you my friend :)
Wow. Fantastic finding this place and the painting on the wall by a Wehrmacht soldier. Wow. Pity it can’t be protected in some way so it stays there forever. Awesome.
Loving that place and thanks for being here :)
Thank you again WW2HH and EE for this adventure.... Just enough information to make me eagerly wait for the next episode of this unit in the Atlantic Wall adventures.... Till then be safe, careful and stay heaithy..
Our pleasure Ted and Yes will enjoy more from here later :)
Thank you showing the guns in detailed
Will be more of that in next episode my friend and thanks :)
Brilliant to see the gun still there and thank you so much for sharing
Thank YOU David for your great support :)
It's just incredible to see that some of the guns are still there! This location has so much to see, I bet you could easily make four more videos of this location! Keep up the good work!
We shall share more for sure and i think you will like that :)
Indeed one of the best multi-part video series you’ve made. 👍👍👍
Glad you think so and more to come :)
That Schneider gun is amazing, HH. What an awesome position! Until Part 4!❤️
It sure is Cynthia and we will meet you in part 4 :) Be safe and keep smiling :)
This was a great one for this Sunday on my lunch break! I don’t even know what I ate that’s how good the video was ! HH you and EE just showed out on this one ! The Guns are just great ! Thank y’all !! Be careful! Be safe!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you so much Mark :)
I have been waiting for part three and look forward to part four. As usual, you never disappoint me. I thank you both for these epic journeys into WWII history and as always " good hunting "
Thanks from us :)
Thanks for another amazing adventure! We appreciate all your hard work! Hello to Eagle eyes!!
Our pleasure!
Certainly is a brilliant area to explore. The gun is in good condition considering its age and costal location, looked like the elevation control had been removed as well. Would be great to see some preservation work carried out on it to reduce further decay. Utterly amazing that you find small pieces of artwork every now and again. Gives a glimpse into the soldiers that were there.
Yes my friend , what a totally awesome place that is. The details are just fantastic and i think you will love what more we will share from here. Thanks so much and greetings from us.
Hi not had alerts on your videos now for a little while, glad I received this one.
Excellent as always.
Thank you and Eagle eyes!👍
No worries and just drop by when you have the chance. Thanks.
Thank yuo and EE for sharing these videos. I'm very keen to to do my own trip to atlantic wall, hopefully can do it in year or to.
Thanks Tero :)
I am always reinvigorated to see you video waiting for me every Monday morning. Great stuff, keep up the good work.
How great to read David and thanks for that :)
Look at all the history still there. Looking forward to seeing more. Cheers ✌👍❤😎
Thanks 👍Robert and yes there is a ton og interesting things to see there. Appreciated and greetings from us.
That drawing was fantastic! Can't wait for next part !
Agree and thanks :)
@WW2HistoryHunter it's so neat to see the human aspect of the war. Just imagining that soldier doing that under the stress of combat there is super cool.
Thanks for bring us to this site! I can not believe how much is still in place looking forward to part 4!
I agree Juley , what a incredible location and we just love it. Thank you for your kind support it is greatly appreciated and will enable us to go out and do even more explores. Thanks so much and greetings from us.
Awesome to see those guns in place, but sad to think they will just eventually rot away and be gone…
I agree and hope someone will restore and take care of them. Thanks.
Great artwork by that soldier, mate. Great video. All the best from Australia 🇦🇺
Appreciated Ben and greetings from us.
Awesome content! 👌 Thanks for explaining the historical chapters so lucidly. I look forward to more episodes. Keep up the good work! 👍
Thanks, will do!
Thanks again for bringing me history, to see the gun and mural was so good, I enjoy seeing how the bunkers were during the war. Great job such effort
Thanks George
Part 4!!! Awesome, can't wait!! 👌 and what a wonderful find!!!! Absolutely amazing 👏 great video and great work 👏 👍 😀
Thanks Joel :)
Another great part to the adventure. A shame they had to blow the barrel and destroy the breach block but even the museums have to do it. The amount of underground work and concrete is border unbelievable. The scrappers didn't take all the guns because of logistics of even cut-up parts imagine bringing in the whole gun in one piece. This is a great site to visit for a few days. Somewhere there are layout maps from Todt, it would be interesting to compare them to the actual site and see what was changed. Great job both of you stay safe and well.
Blowing the barrel might have been doe by allied troops during the invasion.
I agree William. What a totally awesome place and details we have never seen before. Just amazing. Thanks my friend :)
Beautiful cannons, it's a shame that they rust and deteriorate like their wheels that you found in the last shots, I wish your son a speedy recovery of his hand (I send you, daughter and son special greetings from Croatia). I am not a regular commenter nor a Patreon member, but I watch your videos in the full link.
Thank you very much Michael and we appreciate that. Greetings to Croatia from us.
This is really something!! Thank you HH and especially to EE who finds so many details! Glad to be on the team and can’t wait for the next episode! ❤️❤️
Our pleasure!
Again..freaking awesome..great ideas for us 1/35 scale modeling for diaroma building
Thanks Jim :)
How wonderful it was to see the drawing again. I hope they can do something to help to preserve it for future generations. I love not seeing graffiti at this location. So much to see. I hope you and Eagle Eyes can return to go down the ladder for a look around. Like you I think they should put some kind of preserver on the wooden wheels to protect them. Love seeing the guns still there. Always great videos from you both.
We love to see the locations untouched but it is getting rarer and rarer these days. We will look into this place later when we are around there. Thanks my friend :)
WW2HistoryHunter and EE are back in action, the vlog begins.
It is, after all, a position that is very large and full of surprises.
It's nice that the drawing is still completely original.
I think EE is a brave young man, he takes all the lead.
The cutter gun is a good example of what it was like.
Yes Oma , it is a great place and love to see EE out there in front heading out into adventure. Thanks so much and greetings from us.
Absolutely stunning to check out the Schneider gun close up and hear the excitement from EE and HH. Wow, wow, wow an awesome adventure. 💖
Totally agree Beverley and thanks for being here :)
Your content just gets better and better, Thank you for all of these findings.
Glad you like them!
Love see those guns in the exact position as they were
Totally agree and thanks Geoff
Another Outstanding video by the WW2 History Hunter Team. We are glad to see that Eagle Eyes is recovering well.
Thank you to you and the WW2 History Hunter family.
Yes EE is fully recovered and thanks for your great support my friend :)
This is my favorite episode so far.
Appreciated Lisa and greetings from us.
So cool that the guns are still there. Also the war paints is very nicely visible 👍🏼
IT sure is and thanks for watching.
Fantastic video. You are very fortunate to live in a place that has so much history.
Thank you very much!
Brilliant video thanks you do a amazing work
Thank you very much!
Spectacular doesn't do this area justice. Such a massive complex of bunkers and gun positions spread everywhere. I could see myself spending days and days wandering all over that site. And so cool to see that gun still in place, virtually just as the Germans left her, at the end of the war. It really helps the imagination to view what the whole place would have looked like, with the guns poking their barrels into the area, their crews manning them, orders being yelled, and then the noise, as the guns fired out to sea. What an amazing place you have brought to us. Stunning to say the least.
Bring on part 4! Cheers to you both! Stay safe and well!
i know Peter and it took us totally by surprise and with that many details and feature it is one of the best i think. Good we have our imagination with us. Thanks so much for being here :)
those guns.......wow
Great place and thanks my friend :)
That was great. I don't have to close mt eyes to see what the guns look like in their pit. Thank You for taking me along. I am excited for the next video now.
Totally agree and love this place. More to come Larry :)
The best yet: drawings to guns, or just gets better.
Thanks Thomas.
What a place and the schneider gun can't believe it's still intact and still placed there
Yes Karl , what a fantastic place that is. Thanks and more to come :)
As ever, great video and beautiful scenery. Those guns are always amazing! I love seeing these places and things you guys find! Thank you HH, EE, and BBG, from my family to yours.
Appreciated and yes it is a great place to explore and share. Thanks and greetings from us :)

That is a very interesting place. They had to put a lot of work into it. I would like to seen it when it was new. Thank you for sharing you two be safe.
Appreciated Bob and greetings from us.
That was something HH & EE. The original Schneider Guns were a rare sight especially almost fully intact. Definitely pleased that they decided to leave that piece of history. So much to see yet on that WW2 historical site. Thanks HH & EE. Looking forward to next installment. Stay safe.
We just love this place so much that we are going back in the future. Thanks Laura.
the scale in 6 years of that shit is astonishing
Impressive work they did. Thanks.
Awesome man! Great work to show us. What a amazing place.
Thanks my friend.
World War 2 History Hunter, you should have at least half a million subscribers you definitely deserve that number.
Working hard on that my friend and thanks :)
Fantastic work, great experience for Eagle eyes. Top class.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love this gun. Seeing the inspiration for some of the models I have built and painted for my death korps of krieg Army is amazing.
There you go and thanks Leeroy for being here :)
Once again, WOW, this site is some amazing. Not sure if it was real, or just a trick of the camera and light, but that 105 looked like is still had camouflage paint on it, and to still be there 80 years on. EE was having a great time as well. I cannot wait for part 4, what else is there to find I wonder. Thank you both again, and stay safe and well my friends
It could be camo paint we see i am not sure but boy do they look so right there in the position. Thanks so much Barry for your incredible support and more to come :)
Wow that position is wild
It is ure magic and thanks Tom :)
Bless his heart! Please tell Eagle Eyes that I broke my arm a couple of years ago in 3 places, so I absolutely understand how much it hurt! Oh my…I’m glad he is healing well. My physical rehab at that time was taking care of my youngest granddaughter. I carried her quite often, and oh dear it hurt. But the result returned my arm to full mobility. 😎👍
I will and thanks for your kind words and greetings from us my friend.
Fantastic ! 👌
Thank you! Cheers!
So very interesting to see these sites locations and the guns left icing on the cake 🎂 so to say thank you so much for hard work and determination 😀
Thank you for watching and for being here :)
Another great video of this location! Well done guys :)
Appreciated and greetings from us.
wow, another great location.
It sure is!
Another incredible find on a beautiful location.
Indeed and appreciated my friend :)
17,000 meters = 10.5 miles! Those Schneider guns could reach out quite a ways! That pencil drawing on the wall was very good. I always wonder after seeing something like that what happened to the young artist who made the drawing. The work to construct these places, and then the later efforts to haul away the ammunition and weapons when the conflict was over, just crazy the amount of effort by both sides. Thanks for taking us to this place and sharing it with us! Stay safe and stay well!
Imagine the booom when that fired , must have been crazy. Just amazing to see it all our there still and love to share that with you Donald. Thanks so much for your great support and we send a greetings your way :)
Sounds like another fabulous trip. Can hardly wait to see it all. Looking forward to seeing EE and BBG reactions . Wonderful plan for all of us!
It was a very exciting place indeed and so much to find there. Thanks Stephanie.
Awesome video thank you amazing to see the gun in its near complete condition.
I really appreciate the effort you and eagle eyes go to to share this with all of us❤
Greatly appreciated Glenn and greetings from us.
Thanks!
Thank you William for that and greetings from us.
Should look for the manufacture date on the barrel of the guns.
WE will show more later and thanks John :)
An incredible location HH! Some fantastic discoveries at this site to excite our imagination. Each episode makes us keen for the next one. The sketch on the wall of the bunker, probably drawn by a homesick soldier, adds some humanity to what must have been a lonely duty in that location for a soldier far from home. I am looking forward to the next episode. Stay safe both of you, and greetings from Australia 🇦🇺!
I agree what a great place Gary to explore and discover. Such good details there form the past. Thanks so much Gary and greetings from us.
I love the stuff you show
Appreciated Pezz.
I find it incredible at how well built the German gunnery is. It's been almost 80 years since it was in use and looks like it would still be able to fire to this day with a bit of refurbishment.
Could very well be that and thanks Craig :)
Thanks
Thank you for that my friend :)
Wow, incredible!
Thanks.
BTW - love this series!
Thanks :)
I wonder what the maximum fireing range of the shnider gun compaired to our 10.5 centimeter Howetzer which was 20 miles at max elevation
It is pretty far i believe. Thanks for watching.
What an amazing site ! It's the equivalent of finding a medival caste with tapestries still hanging on the walls !
So true and thanks my friend for being here :)
I would love to visit this place. What an incredible find. I am shocked there is no graffiti. Thanks again for a great adventure
Glad you enjoyed it Ben and our pleasure to share with you :)
I...WANT...TO...GO...THERE!!! Know I'll probably never make it over there but so badly want to get there. Thank you so much for sharing with us. Love coastal artillery sites especially since they still have some of the guns there! Just wish they would take better care of those guns.
Wonderful place my friend and love it so much. More to come :)
Great place lovely place fantastic to see whats left there 😎😎😎
It sure is and we loved to be there. Thanks and more to come my friend :)
The trails don't look like immediate or during WW2 production. Maybe earlier. Impressive find. I am surprised the government has left them. The steel alone would be worth melting them down. Good find.
Great place and thanks for being here.
Great video! My question is , how did they build something like that in such a remote area and as quickly as they did.
Tons of people and resources sorts out everything i guess. Thanks.
As always, thank you for brightening up a dull Monday and transporting me back to the 1940's for another great day out, what fantastic finds in original condition, brilliant! Thank you EE and HH!
Our pleasure!
I can imagine a Soldier longing for home and drawing that picture on the wall to take him closer to home. That definitely needs to be preserved for historical value. I loved seeing this Schneider gun complete. I got a really good view of how it attached to the base. This part was evidently put on after the gun was in place. Then seeing the tail section sitting on the steel ring brought it all together. Your explanation of these gun at these locations is great but seeing it actually sitting there brings it all together. Really nice video. Tell Eagle Eyes to take care of that arm and let it heal properly so he can get back to doing the important searches for history.
Yes could be a soldiers longing for home indeed Anthony. Love to see the guns there. Thanks and greetings from us.
I knew this was going to be good. I love your passion about history. I can imagine the gun crews hard at work. You draw pictures with your words and that makes it extra special. I wish there was some way to preserve that beautiful drawing. It has withstood the passage of time wonderfully. I could almost picture the young man that drew it, far away from home. Thank you and EE for another grand adventure. Take care and stay safe.💖💯
Luckily they are preserving more and more of such drawings and i love to see that.
Like usual another amazing location along thr Atlantic wall. Really nice to see a gun still partly intact kinda crappy they had to blow a hole in the barrel. I'm glad Eli is there with you he's such an amazing young man n I'm glad Eli is almost fully recovered from the broken arm. Ps Eli keep up all the amazing work you do and all the awesome things you find along the way on your adventures with your Father. I know all of watchers n supporters appreciate everything you do keep it thank you very much Eli and history hunter.
EE is fully healed and we thank you for your kindness and great support my friend :)
