I have listened to Kenny Chesney for years and this was the song that got me. After years of working 80+ hours a week, 6-7 days per week, i finally wonder what it is all worth when life is just flying by and all i do is work. Seriously who else in history can write a line like "waiting for my nest egg to retire"? Probably no one else. Most people i see at work as a physician will never see their nest egg retire and will wonder what is it all really worth. Material things are meaningless when one spends too much time at work. Thank you Kenny, for always writing songs about real life and the consequences of not living it to the fullest.

Just came through Helene a couple days ago. Everything went well. My 11th hurricane. Wouldn't trade for all the horses in Texas. Capt.Bob SV ( Sailing Vessel ) 27th Chance, Tampa Fl, USA 🇺🇸 PS: Seen him twice here in Tampa. Great show but at 64 ? I'm done with the concert life. Started in 73 with Zeppelin, I was 13, no adult supervision. Ended in the same spot, Tampa Stadium, with Kenny. Like to buy him a beer sometime to show my gratitude.
This song emphasises what I want in life, to have a nce life, a nice wife, and most of all...a nice time in this existence we have. Kenny's always been there for me, giving me the songs i need to feel better, or make me happier. Thanks Kenny.
