Midday in The UK. I would like to thank you for your beautifully explained Chana Daal recipe. I’ve ordered asafoetida and fenugreek leaves as not used these before. Thank you again for your efforts.

Great, I am so happy that you could make this right following my recipe . And I am so proud of you. I want you to keep trying and one day you make things better than I do ❤️
Finally knew how Pakistans cooking hard lentils I was cooking lentils over an hour never has become soft in the I poured it in the trash bin thanks very much
Yes, absolutely. I never boil moong daal in pressure cooker but you might want to change the recipe a little bit. Like the tadka for moong daal. If you want I can share a recipe for moong daal soon 😃
Thanks for your comment! Cook on a low to medium heat and pot should be covered. I haven’t used induction for a long time. Last time I used was probably in 2015 but I remember 300-600 used to be the low to medium. This might help. Pls feel free to comment if you have any questions.

Yes, this takes longer to cook but an overnight soak can do the job faster plus it tastes much better to boil in a pan instead of pressure cooker 😃

Thanks! I appreciate it
you were making haraam daal.. this is halaal 😂
Lol
Helps to use fresh produce. Dals left in cupboards for years often never cook properly. That’s my experience at least.
Slow cook daal tests better than cooking fast in a pressure cooker
Can I use the same procedure for Moong Dal? Thanks

@@citrusaroma5469 Thank for your reply. I am looking forward for your Moong Dal recipe! ❤
Would you recommend adding fresh cilantro at the final stage ?
Or this dal tastes better WITHOUT cilantro?
This one don’t need cilantro, it’s recommended for thin daal specially red lentils
cook daal on high flame or medium?
Medium flame
Soo good brother!!

Make perfect chana daal this way. without pressure cooker
When you said cook it for 40-50 mins, what should the flame power be? I use an induction, so I'd like to know this please
