Amazing Grace and Prayers For this World are also epic listens! I think Matt and Kirstie (Ker-stee) stole the show on this one because as bass, Matt rarely gets to shine, and boy did he SHINE, and Kirstie belted her heart out AND looked gorgeous. 😊

I recommend their -cover- upgrade of "The Prayer." They decided to do the version that was an English/Italian duet between Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli, with Mitch singing Celine Dion's part and Scott singing Andrea Bocelli's part. Everyone shines, of course, they always do, but Mitch's ethereal high vocals combined with Scott's baritone and tenor are just spectacular. Scott doesn't speak Italian; he had to memorize his lyrics by rote.
I still can't believe they didn't get a Grammy/Nomination for that song - I know they had a nomination for the whole album, which is awesome, but that song in particular just SHINED.
As a kid growing up in church this was a song that was always part of my Christmas. But I never paid much attention to each verse until PTX did their rendition. I come close to tears, the song writer reminds us that All humanity is precious and Christ was sent here to show love for Everyone.
In the meantime - they have a HUGE catalog of originals and covers that you will enjoy - "Havana". "Happy Now", "New Rules/Are you that Somebody", "Come Along", Waving Through a Window"

Kirstie) plus a Michael Jackson Medley. It’s a little longer than the avg. reaction, but Pentaholics will def. watch it all.

But when they came to "O Holy Night," they realized that this was one of those songs that could benefit from Matt's incredible range, so they rerecorded it. Good choice; this is much more powerful than the previous version. I think this may be Grammy-worthy.

I would love to see you do Sohyangs version as a comparison,this is really good but my lady brings soul and passion like nobody else who i have seen cover this song,she doesn't just sing the song she lives and breathes it and because of her faith believes every word she is singing,it is extraordinary.Also she is pretty as hell which is an added bonus😊
