There's not a single Kirby game I consider to be mediocre. Every Kirby game manages to feel like a brand new indie game from geographically separated creative geniuses. That's how good Kirby is.
NO I DIDN'T You are so right on so many levels. I, in fact, prefer games with great replay ability but I still buy and enjoy almost every Kirby game in existence. No matter how short, or how long, each and every game has a great charm to it that brings me back every time.
Fun fact: when I first listened to this remix back when it was new... I actually almost ended up crying. THAT'S how great this old remix is. God, I love this series...

If you think about it Kirby is Nintendo's most powerful character ever to exist. I know that a lot of the main protagonist have pulled off some incredible feats in of their own right, but Kirby sure does take the 'strawberry-short cake'. C'mon! What other Nintendo character has slain and vanquished the ruler of the underworld (the devil) and still maintain such an epic smile and puffy characteristics!? Kirby: "Poyo! Poyo!"
