    I love Andy's podcast (MFCEO Project)! There are exactly 81 days left in the year.
    Working out, drinking a gallon of water a day and reading are things I already do and wouldn't be much of a challenge for me.
    Here's my challenge for myself:
    1. Fast for 16 hours a day (IF)
    2. Limit social media/UA-cam consumption to 1 hour per day. Screens off 1-hour before bed.
    3. No candy/chocolate/ice cream or sugary foods
    4. Wake up at 5 AM and go to bed at 9PM
    5. Meditate every day

    That's awesome Mike. I just learned about the 75HARD challenge and Andy's podcast a couple weeks ago. I was also going to wait on a few things. You threw down some amazing points. I guess I am in got no excuse!

    Mike - I am on Day 56 and am CRUSHING! My indoor workout is your program! My mind is so freaking strong right now. I’m doing it with a buddy (he’s one day ahead of me). We are CRUSHING! I’m 48 and I am now the leanest I’ve ever been in my adult life. With that said, my mental toughness is 10X more than my outward transformation. Pumped to follow your journey!

      I'm day 56 tomorrow! Hardest part has been the water and the selfie. I gave up gluten for part of the diet thing. That has been the easy part ironically. I walk the dogs or row in my driveway and then ROMWOD, CF, weights, or hike for the others. Booze gone for the longest stretch since I was a teen and not pregnant. I feel like I can handle anything now.

    I actually quit caffeine cold turkey 2 weeks ago and didn't really feel that much of a withdrawal. Despite occasionally wanting a "pick me up," the pros of quitting are currently outweighing the cons!

    I love this. I an # day challenge so I'm in. Instead of two a days and a diet, I'm just gonna make sure I hit my protein goals and write 500 words (I need this for my career).

    I'm down do join you on this one. Nov 1st - after exams (late januari)
    Excluding nutrition/working out because they are a staple in my routine and don't fall under "challenge" for my anymore
    1. Be social atleast once per day, as i usually tend to lean towards the saying hello part and continue minding my business
    2. Stretch every day
    3. Revise atleast 10 pages per day on any uni course/do equal mendatory task
    4. no cafeine except for pre-soccer match game

    Can't help but feel that the details of this challenge seem a bit arbitrary / needless. Without commenting too much on the philosophy of the challenge, I'm not convinced that quitting caffeine, and focusing on physical aspects is very relevant for you, since I think that you already have a high level of fitness and awareness in that area. Also, as i'm fairly sure you know, many studies have shown a wide variety of short and long term benefits from caffeine use in moderation.
    From what you said, it seems like the thought that you aren't as mentally tough as before triggered wanting to start this challenge. Perhaps a worthwhile thing on that topic to include in this challenge would be to give meditation another shot. Guided secular meditation from headspace is what works for me.
    Anyways, I'm glad to see you posting more, and appreciate all the attitudes and thoughts you've inspired in me over the years.

    Challenge accepted. I'm scared but 'm in. Let's go!!! Swim 3x weights 4x bike walk jog or ski daily to get outside. Pound water. Fast one day a week. Read and journal daily. Count macros. Post progress. Yikes!!! This will be tough through the holidays.

    I hope you will be able to simplify your goals in the next video, I know you said you had to work out the exact program, but still be careful not to quarter-ass four things instead of whole-assing one thing.

    So how does the fasting help exactly? Does fasting for that amount of time impact muscle protein synthesis?
