I really appreciate the manual car analogy for neurodivergence. It’s so relatable!

Kendahl, look into straps for weight lifting, they go around your wrist and palm & they really help with grip!
I was able to immediately add 40 pounds to my dead lift once I started using straps, and I was able to hold myself on a pull up bar for more than 3 seconds. They are so helpful. Do grip & wrist exercises too but also get the straps!
Don’t listen to juice heads who say you should only use them if you lift like 300 or more pounds. I would have never been able to hold more than 40lbs without them & that would have made it so I couldn’t add weight for any exercise.

Gym rats are probably saying that because they work out every muscle in their body and need that extra help to lift up 300+
straps are good but we need to focus on helping out the muscles that we use when dead lifting.
A weak back, shoulder, and core can only get you so far when your main focus is quads, hamstrings and glutes.

Is there a list anywhere of all of the books Sarah reads? I've never been jazzed about reading, but they all sound so interesting!

Crazy never noticed and that said it doesn’t bother me now that you pointed it out , when I used to make jokes I always had to say JUST KIDDING and now I find my self repeating things twice , I think some of us are just a little different

guys can you please rework the structure of the podcast? it feels like you guys don’t want to talk about the topics & it’s just nonsense ranting a lot of the time. maybe you guys should move to talking about your interests & work on staying on topic. i find myself not being able to listen to the podcast anymore. love you guys but i think it’s time to rethink

it’s two neurodivergent people yapping and having a good time not a class 🤷🏻 there’s loads of more structured / information based podcasts out there if that’s what you’re looking for!
