I am recovering from orthorexia and OCD and it is so so hard because you have to eat. Getting sober is hard but you don't have to drink to survive. Thanks for metioning it!

Dropping weights IS auditory man spreading lmfaooo
I worked at a 24 hour for 2 years and i always had to make announcements for the gym bros to stop dropping weights on the second floor. Then one night at like 11 pm- this guy Josh (why is it always a J name) dropped soo much weight upstairs that one of the ceiling lights fell and shattered allllll over the floor. I spent like 2 hours cleaning it all up and told him his membership was suspended. He almost hit me. Straight up he was SOO mad

I absolutely dropped a personal trainer bc she wouldn't stop trying to push a food program on me and I had just lost a shit ton of weight by working with an endocrinologist and his nutritionist. I had a serous program to take care of that part, just walk me through a work out!!!

I worked customer service jobs from 2009 to 2020, and I can attest to the fact that many of those business, the food related ones in particular, lost SO much business in the first two weeks of January. It was actually kind of stressful cuz managers love to cut labor when it gets slow, so we had to prepare in December and November ahead of time to try n save up for getting like half of the normal hours, which is horrible during the holiday season.

As a kinesiology major (exercise science) you guys hit this episode on the head! Seek registered dietitians for advice and keeping a healthy balance with food is key. Any exercise is good exercise and we are all on our own journey! 🫶

Ayyyyyo! I’m a ESS major too, as well as my girlfriend and she’s actually a registered dietitian! We can’t echo this enough 💯 especially her.

You guys should have coupleagoofs on the podcast! They're funny, queer, and they can give a really interesting insight on multi-generational homes

I was listening to this on Spotify and while I agree with how influencers should be honest about how they achieve a certain body type (aka typically genetics). If you hire someone as a personal trainer your aim is to be healthier yes? They’re asking for what you eat because someone in your life isn’t healthy; that’s why you hired a personal trainer. Anything you do in the gym means nothing if you don’t have good nutrition. Nothing is sustainable if you don’t have good nutrition.
You can’t be healthy if you aren’t eating a healthy diet.

I think what they mean is that we shouldn’t be going to personal trainers for diet advice. How to eat healthy for you specifically should come from a registered dietitian

Tbh, it’s just a thing people to do show others that they’re listening to them. I understand what you’re saying about adlibs 😂😂 but come on…
